Looking for a case that has mobo panel on left side

    Hey guys.
Im trying to find a case that has the mobo panel on the left side (facing the front of the case view).
i been trying to find one for a while now and looks as if they don't exist, I know some you can switch mainly, but they cost way over my price range.

    thanks

You can try searching for BTX cases...

Are you trying to mount an ATX motherboard on the left side, or use a BTX mobo?

Its mainly so i can look into the case form the right hand side. Since the left side is up against a wall, and i dont want the fan so close to the wall aswell

Turn it 180 degrees, problem solved. If you do not like the looks of the backside of your pc you can buy a porn mag and glue some nice pics on it.

I would highly recommend the option of rearranging furniture... if there are fans on the left side, you're losing airflow by having it in the corner. If there are NOT fans on the left side, you're losing air flow because the back is in the corner too. When I had a similar dilemma as you... I rotated my case 90 degrees and placed the "right side" up against the wall. This is also a significantly cheaper option.

    there's several.

firstly, for cost and unique features, i'd pick the RV02. the fan arrangement and heat exchange is impressive for any build, but consider how your desk/environment works for you, as heat & dust is always a problem, the AP fans in the silverstones are better than average 120mm/140mm fans for cross-stream airflow, but they do collect dust if placed on a floor, in a really inaccessible place.

The Silverstone Raven RV02 (and some of the Fortress FT02 models have a right sided panel, and an alternative mobo arrangement, that faces the cables towards the top of the case. the Fortress/Raven sometimes feature an internal power extension, but if you know it's an issue, i think they now have a 90' IEC plug at the top, if your cable run is going to be a problem, you can get longer power cables

silverstone has about 4 cases like this, and there's some Lian-Li cases that also feature the same or similar right panel window and 90' mounting.

BTX, where the PSU sits at the base and the CPU at the top is possible in a right window case, but the Lian-Li, places the CPU at the lower-base, the PSU below it, and has a central dividers for airflow/heat, especially from the CPU/PSU, the main heat-sources.

i.e. V1000, V2000 (difference in cost is ... woah to argh the V2000 is built for servers, but any server you'd want would be rack-mount, not a $500 case.)

ah yeah, the monster temjin, forgot that one. i think the $700 price is absurd for the weight, when the RV 02 is easier.

but if newegg has it on special, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163178

i expect it to sell like lead paint.

And I thought the Obsidians had extortionate price tags.

I'd recommend the RV02. A friend of mine has his LAN rig in one, and it's a far better machine for it. Given the dual-560Ti's with their chunky Frozr coolers, and the amount of movement that the case goes through, the setup within the RV02 is far more forgiving on the physical connectors internally.

It also sets him apart when he gets there and goes to cable it all in. I've heard a few people say "Why is your machine sitting on it's front?"

I own an RV-02 and it is an amazing case. The only problem with it is the HDD cage, and the lack of water cooling opportunities, the latter of which is fine because its an air cooling case.
