Dont need an archon toilet. As long as you have archons, muta balls should be no problem.

How can you expect to defend multiple bases with archons? You'd have to split your army into 2-3 and you won't have more than 4 archons.

The problem of mutas isn't dealing with it in a direct confrontation, the difficulty is trying to defend multiple bases with slow moving units

Shuttle high temps around and storm like BW days. Honestly you can never go wrong with well placed storms against a mass of mutas then morph into Archons. Mutas are incredibly weak in direct engagements, except at critical mass, but even supply against stalkers they're going to get destroyed and come out severely behind unless enough eco damage is dealt. Phoenix can be used, but only if you completely dominate him before he gets critical, then his only option is either corrupters or hydras. Corrupters are practially ruled out unless you get Broodlords but that's extremely expensive, so you're choked into hydra tech and if they get grav-lifted then you're screwed.

For terran... sorry. Learn to use a raven or something, that thing can easily fuck a zerg's day up, just no terrans have bothered to really utilize it and go with
standard marine/tank against baneling/mutas and think they can win. And even so against like 8 mutas if you have 16 marines run in and stim with a medivac you're still very cost effective and will force mutas to back out. It's a matter of not letting him mass that much. Hell even thors backed with marines are incredibly strong against mutas. No zerg would attempt to magic box a thor backed up with marines.

Thats true. I was mostly talking about attacking armies with mutas. Not harassment.

Could be some kind of firebat hybrid. Might be interesting.

Mutas aren't a straight up fighting unit, though.

That said, send in lings First, then attack with mutas. Lings have a higher priority than the mutas, so your mutas get to just unload.

Playing Mech vs Zerg is still funny.

Oh, you were winning? I was on one base?

Well, you missed up on your worker split, so you have 2 workers now. Enjoy. "HE'S LININ' EM UP!" - Day9

Moved this here at mods request.

Anyone attending a barcraft event for MLG Orlando? I am and I was just curious if anyone else was. For those who don't know what it is. It's basically an event where a bunch of gamers get together, get drunk, and watch E-Sports. Pretty damn awesome. Lucky for us, the owner of Montreal's biggest club is a huge sc2 fan and is hosting it. We've got about 500 confirmed and 900-1000 that might attend. Truly a monolithic event.

I can just see the thought process.

"Maybe if I build enough static defenses he won't have room to drop the hellions anymore!"

    Heh, dropping hellions.

That would be a good idea.
