Hello all...ive been playing moonkin since cata ...and ive always struggled with dps...you can probably check some logs of me at wol... I dont know what i do wrong, im pretty sure i have the right stats and rotation...i just dont know what exactly is going wrong, i am almost always last on the dps meter in our 10m raids ...and im sick of being so stupidly bad for a reason i dont know... i am very inept and bad at understanding most of what i read sadly... i just want to become a really good boomie.... i love it so much... my char is Herzen on tarren mill Eu...would love any kind of help...please..

I haven't looked up your armory or anything like that, but the very first thing I can tell you is this: ALWAYS BE CASTING!!! No matter what. Even if you're running away, jump and turn in the air and moonfire then turn back and keep running. This is the single most important thing I've learned while playing a moonkin since Vanilla. Even if you mess up your rotation do a hardcast of your nuke. This is vitally important. Next, I've found that I am very gear-dependent--I must always regem/enchant/reforge every time I get an upgrade and usually can't begin to catch up to the "pures" until farther into the season due to gear issues. I feel badly for you so good luck and don't give up!

Even the active ones will avoid your post if you don't post armory and specific logs yourself. You need to help others to help you.

I check every new post in this thread and give advice when I can.. But any one who cba to link a log, or even an armoury, aint worth the effort.

However, from your armoury link, you are a bit over haste and hit cap and could make it more optimal:

Aint got time to give a proper look atm but your NG uptime is really really low, on malkorok for example which is a straight forward single target fight you only had 75% NG uptime, that should be a lot higher. Same story on IJ.

Iron Jugg: Takes him way too long to switch eclipses and also sits in some eclipses for too long. Hurts his Nature's Grace uptime and by the looks of it he isn't chain casting

His gear isn't great but it's not excuse for his performance although his trinkets, especially the Crystal, suck and has no legendary meta or cloak. I suggest he also reforges for the 10289 haste breakpoint http://www.askmrrobot.com/wow/gear/e.../s%C3%A9ptimus

I think i'm doing something wrong when it comes to hardcasting. My NG uptimes are pretty atrocious for my gear level. That DPS difference between Stoogedrood and I is huge and he's the one doing Siege Engineers during Garrosh.
Possibly my dotting? I use Affdots(Druid) to snapshot and let them run out as much as possible rather than re-applying every eclipse.

Iron Juggernaut i'm getting really nice numbers from: 260K DPS at the end of the fight. In Siegecrafter I netted 170K DPS, topping the charts by a fair amount. I'm at a bit of a loss here.

He really just seems to have no idea what he's doing. DoT uptime is really bad, using the wrong DPS talents. Not only is it class specific stuff but he is just simply not casting anything at some points in the fight which leads to slow eclipse cycles, low NG uptime and abysmal DPS. The way he plays is as if he has never played a DPS spec before. Point him in the direction of the Boomkin guide on MMOC or Icy Veins, a lot of his problems just seem to be not knowing what the hell he is doing and there's really no point digging any further into logs if he's failing at the basics.

She needs to get a Immerseus trinket asap, playing with the cleave trinket is so horrible. Once she gets a heroic bindings you'll see a big difference

Looks like she doesnt push her eclipses frequently enough which makes her Nature's Grace uptime lower than it should be.

Was just curious if anyone can see anything I can improve on, I do not change my talents since I'm not comfortable with DoC yet. But just more or less wondering about if my uptimes are appropriate and if I'm using my CD's as I should.

Planning to reroll to Boomkin for heroic content. Just looking to get some advice to see if there are any glaring errors or things I can improve on just to gain that bit extra in DPS. I just jumped into a flex run to get some logs on the go, if anyone could have a look and see if there's anything I'm doing wrong, it'd be much appreciated.

You're in between haste breakpoints. Hit the 10289 one. Also, really high mastery and crit. Probably because you need like 4k more haste.
Do you have other options besides black blood? It kinda sucks. Well, my personal distaste for it is rather high. Someone may argue.
