I can run all games I have bought on full settings and never dip below 40 fps even in cities so i would say a 9.5

Yeah, and has one of the worst Horde/Alliance ratios. I used it as an extreme example though, because how better to demonstrate the error in some claims? Org at peak time on a low-pop server is a bad example, I can do 60FPS no problem after midnight on my main's server, but I used that example to state that there is no computer that can do 60fps all the time everywhere at max details in WoW. None.
Super casual.
Old PC (4 years +) and nothing fancy really when it was new... just an off the shelf job.
Runs wow ok on average settings, no shadows or anything enabled. Runs an acceptable FPS in org on one of the busiest servers in EU at peak times.
I would give it a 5/10
Can't afford a new PC and this one still can play every game on the market if I don't go crazy with the graphics settings sliders xD
AMD Athlon 64, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3200+
nVIDIA nForce4, AMD Hammer

top that bitches! I can hardly move in Orgrimmar, but everything else works.. just need a few more secs than the rest of the world to get into instances.. and of course, I wanna raid, I have to close almost all other programs for the game to work properly. Oh, and Twilight Highlands is really laggy D: ah well, that's what being poor is like

Hrm benchmarking just for wow I would rate my computer a solid 7
2.8ghz athlonx2
4gigs of ram
Evga Geforce Gt 520
1 terabyte harddrive x2
pretty sure the processor is the choke point as it does tend to hit 100% capacity while wow is running.
Could upgrade to a 4 core processor but I don't believe wow takes full advantage of 2 cores much less 4. Especially on windows Vista
10/10 heavy oc'd 6950 can run everything on 50+ fps on ultra...
fps at peaktimes is a very bad example because wow gets bottlenecked by any cpu because wow's old engine cant even use half of the resourses of a heavy oc'd 2500k when there are a lot of players around not even 4 580s would bring better fps in a situation like that because they would run at 10% load

Well I run wow with everything on ultra with a 1920x1200 res. But my fps varies from 40fps around 7pm in sw to 200 fps in twilight highland at 4 am.
And beside that at non of those point my computer is getting close to 50% stressed.
so 10/10

I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, so many setups almost identical to mine yet I drop to ~30fps every time molten seeds explode on rag but normaly 45-60fps in combat 25man.

There is alot of ppl in this thread lying their pants of with the whole 60 fps regardless as i got a top end PC myself and it will dip below from time to time in places and then back up again ofc but no, the ones claiming 60 fps all over, is full of it
OT: 10/10, no lag issues and runs it on ultra but no, not 60 fps 100% of the time
although i wonder what ur specs are faladrath but yeah ur right this 10 year old engine won't be able 2 use the full potential of the best current hardware so or people done some awesome tweaks on places or are simply liars
10/10
i5 2500k (overclocked to various numbers)
gtx 570 superclocked
8 gig 1600 ram
7400rpm spinpoint (if i still had wow on my SSD i'd give it 11/10 for the even faster load times (5 seconds = win)
edit: i've seen 245 fps in stormwind, stable, but it's not common, in org with shadows dropped a notch (full shadows loads shadows in places you can't even see, so drop them a bit and see what your game looks like compared to your fps), but yeah, i play easily 70-100 fps (i don't raid though) (oh and i upped my graphics past the max with all the little console commands etc, but drop graphics down a tad if you're worried about fps /shrug)
edit2: @dapper, who's to say it fully utilises the hardware?, my graphics card runs about 30% in wow, and my processor last i checked with cpu-z was even speedstepped down to x16 multiplier in wow (not sure if this is/was reliable though as my wow caps fps when it's not in the foreground) as it didn't need to run the higher clock, it doesn't need to be fully utilising the hardware to get good numbers

I'd give mine a 8/10 runs smoothly most of the time, but it can studder now and then. Plus I've seen a live stream of a guy playing, and it looked soo much smoother, even though I run 50-60fps.

[QUOTE=Nellah;13609263]Oh, I would love to see a screenie of someone doing 60fps in the conditions I posted. Here's mine for reference:
I have tried your challege only to fail, im pretty sure its impossible under super computer specs. Im pulling 43fps at max there
7/10, but, as it is a small-priced laptop, I'd give a 8 or even 8.5.
At full ultra (2x multisampling), 100+ fps in world, ~50-80 in Stormwind before raids time, and ~40-50 in fight (25m).
But it can drops pretty much, eg. in Rag 25 hm while fancy visual effects appear.
