netherrack is the perfect building material for when you're in the nether since it's so plentiful! build a thin, rickety bridge up and over to a glowstone deposit and mine away! it's that easy!

shovels do more damage than swords!

gold is rare for a reason! It's even more potent than diamond! make a golden shovel and wreak havoc upon the local creepers!

when building a nether portal, make sure to put it in the center of your house for an epic centerpiece. just build an obsidian frame and fill the inside with buckets of lava and it will activate.

Always left click dogs with a bone.

Creeper's eyesight is based on movement so if one is running at you just stand still.

Lit up furnaces are the best light source.

Put a pressure plate on the outside of your door so if you are being chases by a zombie you can get in faster.

If you are in the 1.9 pre-release you can hold wheat and breed creepers just like the farm animals.

Endermen are not greifing they are just improving your home.

You can create portals to the ender world by placing diamond blocks in a 4x4 shape, but leaving 4 blocks in the middle open. Place tnt in those 4 blocks and lit it on fire, thats how u activate the portal.

Keeping the ALT key pressed when opening the inventory, then, still holding ALT the entire time, and hovering over any item, you can press F4 to get a full stack of that item.

- Always bring your bucket of lava with you so in case you get stuck up high you can place it and swim down with the stream!

- Diamonds near lava are guarenteed safety, Creepers will never attempt to backstab you and trow you in the lava.

- When you are carrying expensive diamonds and your being chased by a creeper type /kill and you'll be safe in no time.

- Setting trees on fire is the best way to farm wood, Forest fires burn everything away, Now just collect the dropped wood!

Alt+F4 is a failsafe button if creeper is near you.Just press it and everything will be over.

don't carry a bucket of lava AND a bucket of water at the same time in your inventory, the water will evaporate! It's not like you'll need the water to extinguish yourself if you get lit on fire!

if you want to collect ghast tears, the best solution is obviously to build a thin, flimsy bridge out of netherrack out over the lava pool they're floating over so you can have the tear drop down right to you!

as a cool cosmetic feature in your library you build for your enchanting book, put some flaming netherrack on either side of the enchanting book. it looks sweeet.

A nether fortress is a glorious place to build your home! Just get it well lit, stick your diamonds in your bedside chest, and lie down to set your spawn point. all your friends will be jealous!

There's nothing pigmen like more than being hit with a reed of sugar cane, do it 3 or 4 times in clear view of his friends and hearts will appear above his head and you can use a saddle on him!
