So what is your guys biggest long running disappointment in WoW?
My biggest disappointment is the fact that I have never had enough time to hardcore raid. I am a better player than 95% of the people out there when it comes to outputting dps and I have played multiple classes to prove it. The disappointment is in the fact that I am always busy and do not have time to have fun pushing content quickly. So on with the question. What is your guys disappointment?

Getting replaced by an asshole GM/RL back in the Ulduar days right before their first Yogg-Saron kill. Never saw the fight after that.
Also, ToC. It was fun, just not a raid.

Never haveing completed a raid ever when i have the gear but need the achievements to pug it and not having the guild to do it.

Probably in Burning Crusade when I chose not to use my relationships for a spot in a guild which most of the officers and solid raiders of our prior guild made to progress into Black Temple and Hyjal Summit. I just sat down and back-up healed their Serpentshrine and Tempest Keep runs as a friend, and waited for Zul'aman to come out because I liked leading 10 man pugs in Karazhan.
Shit. Now that I think about it it could be not ever winning a bear mount out of about 14 rolls. Eh, but who am I kidding I still ride the regular swift Alliance gryphon.

Got my Axe of Apocalyptical Sundering and Demonic Fire. Had to drive cars, catapults, impersonate imps, nagas, click quest items and boxes and never got to swing it properly before I outleveled it. Got to max level fast and realized that the only thing I enjoyed about the game was it's world, and there was no reason to go back there. :/

Yeah, the playerbase is really disappointing. It never knows what it wants, and when we think we do, we cry anyway. Not me personally, but we as a collective machine of stupidity. The continuous lack of respect, or failing to try to make things a little easier for a group by reading up on a fight, or just not being able to follow simple directions. I understand, I do, you suck at life, but that's why WoW exists! It's a substitute, and you can do better.
I believe in you all. But for now, it's not working, so let's just take some time apart. I'm not breaking up with you, just need my space.
Also, damn you Illidan...I never did beat you during your prime, but spent so long farming for resist gear only to join a different guild that couldn't do Sunwell.

I was disapointed when I learned about Bloodelves and Draenei (did I spell that right) were announced for Burning Crusade, Then I was disapointed when Death knight class was announced for WotLK, then I was disapointed when lepergnomes and twilight costume guys were announced as new races for Cataclysm.
Guess what, I'll prolly be disapointed in any class/race addition in 5.0 aswell. I guess I don't like new characters that much. I love 100% of everything else about wow and its updates though.
