I just got Draught and CoF this week, is there anything I should be doing differently with my rotation? I feel like I did the fight well but I did forget second potion and I feel there's still something I'm missing.

Buddy of ours has been raiding with us for a few weeks now, has some solid, but not spectacular gear, and is doing extremely little dps. I've tried reading through the rotation and applying that to his logs, but I'm struggling to nail down specific pieces of feedback to give him. If anyone could give me a few core things to point out to him that he's consistently doing wrong, that'd be a great place to start. We don't need him doing insane damage as he continually learns the game and spec, but some improvement would be nice.

On his armory page he doesn't have anything gemmed or enchanted - and not having 4pc or even 2pc and no trinkets is a big deal considering his ilvl. Almost every warrior at that ilvl that he's parsing against is going to have those things. It could also be a combination of not being comfortable with the fights as well.

A quick look at his rotation tells me he has no clue what he's doing, send him to this forum and tell him to read the fury sticky guide, your other warrior needs to come here also (he has CD usage issues)

My alts a warrior (861 Fury with like 29 traits) and i do 400k+ on are rofl stomp normal and heroic alt runs, im not an expert but ill tell you from his logs his not using Blood Thrist (14 cats) or Raging Blow (20 casts) enough, he using furious slash wayyyy too much (36 casts). There are a lot of good warriors here, so i would do as other posters have said and send him this way, also, and old guild friend of mine (kelade) makes a ton of great content for warriors (youtube videos and streams all the time) so sending him that way would also be a good call.

Im 900 ilvl fury warr, can you please help me what to fix etc, maybe my rotation is bad or i dont really know, ill leave my arrmory to see it

Hi everyone. I'm really having some problems with my warrior (ilvl 906). I've switched to Arms (from Fury) since 7.2.5 and I think my damage output is pretty bad at the moment. It's been going downhill every week when comparing myself to others in the same ilvl bracket on WarCraft Logs.

I'm using the FoB/Trauma build. This isn't supposed to be a hard build to play, but I'm just not getting the numbers. I'm doing the rotation as stated in the 'Arms Compendium' guide. There are moments, however, that I just auto-attack. Having no or very little rage for whirlwind and having no procs. Is this normal?

I also feel that I'm wasting Battle Cry a lot of the times. What are your suggestions? Should I line it up with a CS (and wait for that CS to come off CD or through proc)? Or just use it on CD and risk getting off only whirlwinds due to no procs? What are your suggestions regarding using the Kil'Jaeden trinket? Should I use it on CD or only use it when BC is up?

As an example I'm posting logs from my last raid. The first fight is Fallen Avatar (nm), the second one is Kil'Jaeden (nm) and the last one is Goroth (hc). As you can see, I'm very low on the ilvl bracket scores. Sorry for the hard link, but I can't post hyperlinks due to forum restrictions.

The relics I'm using are pretty bad too, but I couldn't get any others and not having a lot of luck with them (3x increased rage cap)

I just don't understand why my damage is so low. It's never been this bad :P

I am in the same boat, its so frustrating. I do have an arms build but i have no decent arms legos and i find the rng of the build frustrating when i go for a few seconds without being able to use an ability.

What i have done is set loot specialisation to arms and pray i get the arms ring and helm but still play fury for now.

Before I post the logs, I'd like to have an estimate as to how much DPS a Fury Warrior (see Armory link in signature) is supposed to make in, for example, fights like Krosus or Tichondrius.

I cant shake the feeling that my DPS is not bad, but could be better. I'm currently doing between 430-480k

Hello guys,

New warrior player here, I've already read a lot of guides and sheets to learn the basics of arms warrior, and I yet struggle to do a shit DPS, I think (based on my ilvl).

My biggests doubts are: Am I spending rage correctly? How can I take advantage of this helm without T20 4PC? What am I doing wrong? Why can't I do 1M DPS by just entrering the raid?

Hey guys,

my guild is at 7/9 HC in Tomb and yesterday we went to the first rekill in nhc. (EU)
Every fight, except for Kil'Jaeden (I died) and Avatar I achieved purple or orange ratings. (It's normal, so no big deal)

But I have a problem with Avatar of Sargeras, because I cannot get good DPS in that fight.
I hover around 650k and a blue rating of 60. (actually 66, but whatever)
Any particular tips?

From just having a quick look it seems you are not bloodthristing enough which means you aint generating enough rage so you're not using rampage as much, which means you're not enraged as much. (only 50% uptime)

I am a 913 Warrior, mainly playing Fury. I wanted to switch to Arms and am severely underperforming. At First i thought it was me playing suboptimally, but after simming i got the following results: Fury 810k dps (which I nearly reach live) and Arms 490k (which i funnily do also "reach")

Character is Decado on the Server Kil'Jaeden (EU). Crit 20% Haste 27% Mastery 39%

So even simcraft says it cant be doing more than 500k while other Warriors with my GS reach above 800k. So is it simply the lacking mastery? After simming the stat weights mastery is like 1,48 while haste as second sims 0,98.

Short answer, yes. You are trying to play Arms in Fury gear and that's the biggest offender here. It simply won't work. You have to move that haste (mainly) and crit ratings to mastery. You should have at least 11.5K ish mastery with that ilvl while maintaining required haste values and such. Though it might not be as easy as its sounds since its gonna require gear overhaul
