Hey guys. I'm trying to re-learn SV, not having seriously played it in years. I've been maining BM but the numbers just aren't viable for further progression.

I'm going off the instructions at the beginning of the thread, but I'm unfamiliar with warcraftlogs and can't find the separations between ES crits & LnL's. What do you think is going to be the biggest improvement to my dps? Thanks for the help.

Expectations: I'm doing about 2k less dps then some of my hunter counter parts in my Ilvl on most fights in highmaul; with some more extreme jumps on Tectus/Brakenspore (10k+). I'm looking for some further insight into how I can improve.

Seems ok, You should use Explosive Trap more, especially on the arcane remnants in the last phase.

Make sure to keep Serpent Sting up on both Warmages + Reaver.

If you wanna do more past that you are going to have to whore off the volatile anomaly's, ask your group nicely....

Can't help you without a log, just remove certain parts of the link so it will let you post. You can see examples in previous posts in this thread.

Have a guild that uses a decent tactic for crowd buff stacking. Other than that keep SS on Kargath and the tigers, use Barrage if they get close to each other. FS works too (for me at least).

For ranks, yes, of course. A hunter in the chain group isn't too bad actually. I think MD'ing the tank and using Barrage is a good way to pull a good bunch of adds. Not sure though, I've never been in the chain team.

- don't cast BA on anomalies, only on Imperator or other targets that live for the whole duration
- don't prioritize Barrage over TotH Arcane Shots in ST, sometimes you have a very long uptime of the buff and cast Barrage regardless even though there was no add active
- try to cast as many AS as possible during Balanced Fate procs.
- why do you have a +50 haste gem? :/

looking for some insights into what I'm doing wrong on my hunter. Hope you guys can help me out!
I have a Butcher fight to compare myself to 2 other hunters from a PUG:

I had 25.5k DPS on Butcher compared to the 28.0k of Hunter 1.

Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong / different. Maybe you guys can spot some mistakes?

(One thing I really cant figure out is the large difference in hits/crits - especially on Hunter 2's Serpent Sting. He has 100 ticks more than me, on a single target fight. Is that just Multistrike RNG?)

My Itemlevel was 666 at the time of the fight - so about 3-4 itemlevel below them. It's now at 770. But I only have 5xx Multistrike and I'm lacking the Doom Trinket. Does that matter so much? Is it largely RNG based?

Is my Rotation wrong? Do I miss some GCDs?

Hope you guys can find something!
