There is a quest. Just grab them all and when you head to the forges with the large fire aoe around them you usually find a guy with a parasol nearby. Just stand in the fire aoe, don't attack stuff and type /dance. Done. Waddle to the next forge.

A friend of mine that joined wow in cata or mop,did a bg and got the achvments for a different bg instead,it was funny

"We heard you're not a fan of time-gates. So we decided to add some RNG to those time-gates." and then they make three of the mounts slightly different reskins.

Clearly they need to hire more (or any) people for basic testing, especially since nowadays people are not so eager to jump into PTRs. Mostly because we (I mean people who play WoW outside hype periods) have more things to do in live game and PTR often feels like waste of time.

Players genuinely do not test the PTR outside of "Let's run to the raid, get the boss mechanics seen and make strats so we can be world 8962 instead of world 9000" this has always been the way, also there have been things not broken on the PTR that have been broken in live because coding as a hole sucks like that.

There's a part of me that thinks that Blizz doesn't want the money anymore, they just want WoW to end.

I wasn't trying to be funny my dude I was venting at the fact it is pathetic how "you lot" have to nit pick at literally every minor fault with the game, when you probably don't even play it any more. I'd love to understand "the mental state" (as you so kindly put it) of someone who dislikes/hates WoW and Blizzard but constantly spends their time posting negative comments on a fan site dedicated to said game/company.

Achievements have been bugged for pretty much the entirety of the time they've been around. The amount of times I have been awarded the "complete 5 daily quests" achievement on an alt by doing random things... It's nothing new. And before someone says it, I'm not saying it's fine, but on a scale of things that need fixing with this game, I'm pretty sure it's low on the priority list. This specific achievement however is more important as it rewards something, so no doubt it'll be fixed quicker.

And where exactly are people supposed to express their dislike of something in the game? On forums about knitting? Contrary to what you may have convinced yourself of, a forum being dedicated to a game or company that makes it does not equal to a forum dedicated to sucking that game or company off and there's bound to be criticism as well. And given the topic this forum is dedicated to it's the appropriate place to do so. Because misrepresent it you did. @aceperson said nothing about achievements not having been bugged before. What they said is that even achievements are bugged in 9.1. Because if you played this game, you'd know that its ridden with bugs. Including this meta achievement, which had multiple elements of it bugged in the past, both in case of sub-achievements as well as the relevant quests. All of that on top of idiotic design of the assaults themselves, where the relevant quests don't pop up for months at a time, while some that are not required for it appear almost every week.

And when you had to deal with that bullshit for over two months and finally complete it only for it to result in jack shit, because Blizzard's quality control is so non-existent the achievement is most likely bugged due to something as pitiful as a typo (the name of the reward mentioned in the achievement doesn't actually match the name of the mount it's supposed to give), it can be annoying. And since no one died and made you king of ranking the importance of faults with the game, subjectivity is still a thing and it can be more annoying for others than it is for you. Shocking concept right there.

And looping back to how you're blatantly misrepresenting the criticism being given, there's your dishonest phrasing of aceperson's post where you tried to characterize them as having a "need" to criticize the game. In the same vein one could ask you if you feel the need to defend Blizzard kami-sama from even the mildest of criticisms. You do know they won't reward you for it, right?

you cover it all rather well but it won't matter to fanatics. i give credit where it's due and that includes negative credit. but a person like nerph- isn't interested in conversation. they see what they want, and if they don't like it then they try to insult me for it. it's quite insecure of them actually.

Finally a well written, thought out and constructive response from someone.

My gripe is that it's constantly the same people posting constant negativity about the game, often with little to no constructive criticism. I have absolutely no issue with constructive criticism, but sadly you're not likely to find that amongst the 100's of posts complaining. After a while it becomes tedious.

As for the initial post I quoted, you are right. I misunderstood the context of the last part of the post. I'm happy to own up that I misunderstood and apologise for it.

As for your last point, I don't feel the need to defend Blizzard. I felt the need to point out the integrity of the criticism from people on these forums, as 99% of it is not at all constructive and benefits absolutely no one. But I suppose this being a fan site and not an official means of communication towards Blizzard, means we can shitpost all we like, or how am I meant to see it?

Seriously im not having 4 toons 1 of each covenant to earn this achievement and exalted with Death's advance that is way too time consuming every day
