How many mounts do people need?

    I ask this seriously.

Can't they improvise with the reward just for once ffs?

The splash effect is cute and all, but I don't like the style of the rest of it.

Well, this is how it is in 2022. In most games.

I couldnt really give two shits about store mounts. If people want to waste real money on digital assets, go ahead. No wonder NFTs scamming people on a daily basis works.

What annoys me with this is that most mounts the actually put ingame(theres ALOT of them), is that most of them aint unique in any shape or form. Many of them are even less pixelated than store mounts. Store mounts aslo have cooler effects compared to in-game mounts. The only good thing Blizzard does is putting 159827651 mounts in the game, but most of them aint of store mount standard.

Yes Microsoft will if they are smart (which they are), Tokens ruined the game for many. Mark my works it will get grouped with ultimate at no cost increase, also how would that negatively effect you? It would give them a huge amount of subs and way more people would jump into the game, WoW players will have to get gamepass which adds to their sub numbers in a big way. You think they won't merge battle.net with gamepass then you are sadly mistaken, the Blizzard community is going to merge with the gamepass one and bolster their numbers. Prepare for a ton of QQ from people who don't like change.

Some were, some weren't. The first ones released before Blizzard even started the 6-month sub bundles, and not all of the yearly Chinese New Years mounts have been part of the bundles since.

I know for a fact that the Yak and Rat mounts were part of the bundles, cause I have those mounts, and they're not mounts I'd ever even consider buying.

Meanwhile I know that the pig mount wasn't a part of a bundle since, you guessed it, I don't have it.

If there's more of them than the above-mentioned, I don't recall.

Edit: Correction, I believe the first Zodiac mount was the dog, which along with the pig the year after were released before 6-month bundles were a thing.

Since then, the rat, yak and now tiger have been given as part of the 6-month bundles afaik.

Next year is rabbit which will be... Interesting.

The last Hearthstone bonus covered last set and this current set.

So when the next Hearthstone set comes out (roughly every 3-4 months), either they'll add it again, or they'll let it drop off as a bonus and we'll find out then.

So yeah anyone who gets this now won't get both Hearthstone battle passes/battleground pass, but it's possible in like 2 months they'll add it as a bonus again.

If they are smart, they will not kill a money maker. Also merging it with gamepass will lose a TON of money ie those who have both. Why have one source when you can double dip? Microsoft wants money. They will not cut off two sources of it.

Microsoft isn't looking to make people double dip they want to increase the sub numbers in one place, Activision only cared about money and the direction of the game and the token and boosting are direct results of it. Microsoft wants people to play their games with less roadblocks in the way. If you actually look at the bigger picture adding the WoW sub to gamepass ultimate actually does more for WoW in the long run and more for gamepass advertising as a whole. They are at almost 30 million subs for gamepass, many of which I guarantee have never played WoW, not they will very likely try it at no cost to them. If they merge the sub with gamepass now YOU and every other WoW player becomes a gamepass sub, it is pretty genius to get all of you into the ecosystem and you have no choice lmao.

And yet with Elderscrolls Online they make people "double dip". Because the game pass only gets you Morrowind expansion and 10% off the crown store. You still need to buy the other expansions and even the separate subscription. They also only gave a 1 month subscription to Fallout 1st. There is no doubt they will likely have some kind of cross promotion for WoW between the two services but Microsoft certainly doesn't care about making people pay for both.

No thehy want to make money. Why add WoW to gamepass when you can charge people for game pass AND a wow sub? You are basically costing yourself money by throwing away all the sub money because you added it to Game Pass. Also, if they merge it with gamepass, they will make LESS money from me since I will no longer be paying a sub and paying far less for a game pass. Doing this move which means you are getting less money from people is not a genius idea.

My guess i they plan on making a season pass system to replace the monthly fee and the token, the token itself has adversely effected the WoW economy changed the direction of the games design to counter abusive behavior brought forth by the token.

The wow token makes them a pile of cash so no matter how it effects the game i can't see it going anywhere.
