Players level 30 and above can take on Lord Kazzak, Azuregos, and one of the four Dragons of Nightmare each day for some loot and Timewarped Badges.

You’ll also be able to do a little Timewalking to take on the Doomwalker with the weekly quest, “Doomwalkin’ Has Come Knockin” for Timewarped Badges and a chance at additional rewards, including the Doomwalker Trophy Stand toy or Illidari Doomhawk mount.

In addition, players could also have a chance at the following rewards:

Return to Alterac Valley of Olde

Run down your enemies, raze their fortifications, and exchange the tokens you loot from their corpses to summon mighty reinforcements in Korrak’s Revenge, a throwback Battleground inspired by the earliest days of Alterac Valley.

Players who participate in Korrak’s Revenge and complete the Alterac Valley of Olde achievement can earn two mounts: the Stormpike Battle Ram (Alliance) and the Frostwolf Snarler (Horde).

Join the Party in the Caverns of Time

Gather your friends and join the celebration in the Caverns of Time as you /dance, play some Khadgar-ball Soccer, and more.

Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who has continued to make their home in Azeroth. You represent the best aspects of the Horde and the Alliance, and you inspire and motivate us every day. We’re looking forward to sharing many, many more adventures with you in the years to come.

They couldn't be bothered to make something new? Suppose we'll have to wait for 20 years to get that.

I am guessing they are saving that for the big 2 0 :P

Miles stones like 10 and 15 have been the only times they did something big and new.

Honestly I don't think anyone's asking for anything huge but if you're going to drop a 12month sub packet with half a dozen mounts and pets tied to it and not even put in a pity reskin for a pet or a transmog to your anniversary event idk, just makes me a bit sad.

I do agree with the sentiment but thats up to you to decide its that sub is worth it :P

The extra 18% XP is somehow nice in addition to the the other 50% one to have alts “ready for DF” but yes, we would definitely need something new and I also think we’ll have to wait the 20 years birthday to see it.

what a shame...nothing new, we pay money every month, for the same thing every year....what a shame of a company...
they should add new things every year for the anniversary, I remember that this is a paid game....this is not diablo3....they can easily forget it...

When I say that player entitlement gets worse, this is what I refer to. This is a celebration of hte game. YOu should be celebrating the game and the memories you made, not being mad because you don't get new shinies.

i bet they completly forgot there is annoiversary

its pathetic they didnt add anything new to it so close to DF release to hype people up

Forgot about Akama's Edge. Wasn't really needing to get involved in the celebrations this year - the exp bonus is nice. But now I gotta get involved with the Doomwalker. Is it a daily loot reset or weekly?

Companies are not your friends, games are not part of you. As long as you are paying for a product then you are right to feel entitled, if a company does not put in any effort then it's alright to call it out for what it is, an empty gesture.

    Daily. Weekly would really suck.

This is nonsense. All you are entitled to with the money you pay is access to the game servers which you already get. Other than that you are entitled to NOTHING ELSE.

The entitled players are what is truly ruining this game.

Daily. AS it is the mount drop is guarnateed so there is no real reason to have to do it daily even if you want the gear as there is no point in getting that at this point.

I don't really care about the sub cost one way or the other, what I find personally aggravating more-so, is it's kind of a smack in the face to say "Hey if you pay to be here, here's some junk" but then to not actually give me anything while I'm here? It's like having to pay to get into a restaurant and then that restaurant not having a menu or food or drinks for the people inside.

Honestly it's really kind of wild to me that the game doesn't even TRY to be more valid with micro transactions, there's barely anything new added to the overall store ever that's not somehow tied into another purchase "Hey you didn't get this at the door, but it's been been out 6months and the breads went stale so if you're hungry you can buy it now" so you can't even say that the restaurant has food for purchase cause it doesn't.

You're gonna call my take nonsense while you give a child's argument on why people should celebrate a game that has been in steady decline in quality because the executives of the company don't want to give the game the budget it deserves because it doesn't generate as much money as the mobile gambling games.

Alright little Timmy, go and celebrate your little game and keep paying your 12 month sub so that Bobby Kotick can afford his fifth yacht

The gear drops are not guaranteed and some people like to transmog hunt. The encounter has worth past the mount.
Edit: Slight correction. All three bosses and the quest mob allow for token rolls with BfA tokens, people are saying a token roll will always grant loot. I don't know about the 'always' part, but it's worked every time for me.

Yes. The gear (at least from Doomwalker) maxes out at item level 272 at level 60.
