People crying about this are insane. If you don't want to pay a whole $8.00, you can wait a few months and pick up the pieces for free through the trading post. I think it is great if they intend to start having shop items end up on trading post periodically.

So let me get this straight. You can BUY it right now and have/wear it, OR you can simply wait and get it for free in the shop. This isn't an in-game advantage, you're being offered a free way to get it which requires little effort, and that still makes you upset?

Fun fact. My friend and I usually buy what we like, such as this, and it hasn't stopped us from doing well in arena, doing well in M+, and doing well in raids. No guild drama, no party drama, nothing negative at all

Exactly. It's literally FREE in a future trading post, however since some people can't afford or refuse to pay which is completely fine, they want to shit on those who do. All the power to them, but I'd hate to be that miserable lol.

New meta to put more stuff in the shop: Tell people it will become free in the far future so they are less likely to complain about more stuff in the in-game shop. Big brain.

It would be worth buying stuff like this if they didn't have a fucking subscription fee and charge for the goddamn expansion.

It has been proven that mmo's that rely on microtransactions make way more money. Until they drop the sub fee in the box price I'm just going to keep playing on superior private servers for their classic versions of wow.

The World of Warcraft retail is already paid to progress faster if have the money to sink on tokens constantly, it may as well be completely free to play.

They like the appearance. It’s going to be available in game later on. It’s just early access to ppl that want it and have some cash to spend.
None of that is a bad thing.

If you want to shelve out a few euros to get it a few months before it hits the Trading Post or because you want to save up your Tendies for other stuff, go for it, imo. Nothing wrong with that, let people enjoy things.
