Embracing New Ways

Night Elves, Draenei, Lightforged Draenei, Pandaren, Kul Tiran, Tauren, Highmountain Tauren, Mag’har Orcs, and Zandalari Trolls can embrace the ways of the Warlock class—if they have the keen intellect for it and a strong stomach. Demons aren’t always easy to wrangle.

New Quest: New Imp

Warlocks can undertake a new quest line at level 30 that starts with the quest "Beginning Impositions.” To get started, meet up with Assistant Phineas in the Mage Quarter in Stormwind or in the Shadowed Cleft in Orgrimmar. He’ll send you on your way—in style—in a carriage bound for the Darkmoon fairgrounds.

Denizens of Azeroth,

Do you thirst for power? Do you wish to change your circumstances, to become... more? More free. More respected. More feared. Do you wish to become a Warlock? If your response to any of the above is "yes", then meet with my humble servant Phineas.

In temptation, Madam Shadow

Once there, you’ll speak with Madam Shadow, who needs your help bringing new Warlocks into the fold. You’ll meet the new recruits, hear their stories of why they want to become a Warlock and complete the tasks Madam Shadow sets before you as you unwind any new mysteries on the dark isle.

Completing the questline will provide a new Imp customization.

Customizing Your Demon Pets

Stop by the Barbershop to view the available customizations in the game for your demon pets. You’ll be able to see the ones you’ve earned or ones that you’d like to earn right in the interface.

You’ll be able to go out into the world of Azeroth in style with your best-looking demon beside you.

Good luck, and happy cursing!

    The fact that warlock pets got customization before trolls get beards

    Hmm, does this allow warlocks to permanently access the Darkmoon Faire at any time as long as they have the quest in their questlog?

    im wondering that too. Also does the DMF need to be avaiable to get those quests in the first place?

    Oh, now people gonna feel how is it to be a Warlock, since certain % playerbase avoids "evil" classes but pet customization sure gonna lure them in.

    A bit too colorful for my tastes. But I guess its good they gave warlocks more options.

    Its not "customization" it is just like the druid animal forms, they are now no longer glyphs and are instead changed at the barbershop.
    we dont actually "customize" our pets.

    The island is a phased version that has none of the activities or npcs, so while you can go there and hang out, you can't do any darkmoon activities there.

    Yes, but you can't do any typical Darkmoon Faire stuff, only npcs preasent are the ones for Warlock quest.

    No, you get the quest and go there by a carriage parked in Mage Quarter. If leave DMF while you still have quests there you can go talk to carriage guy to go back there.

    Changing shape and color is a form of customization. It is limited but it is still a customization.

    This is amazing, I've wanted a drae warlock for at least five years.

    Unless I missed the news, I can't believe we're getting nelf warlocks of all things before nelf Paladins Not complaining, but that would get me and my wife back into wow for at least a month or two. We've been wanting THAT combo since 2005 lol

    It'll happen eventually. I guess the main extra issue is the creation of a unique paladin mount for each race. I'd say they need to worry about lore but... lol. Yeah....

    Paladins of Elune! Done. Stick some shiny stuff on the nightsabres and we're good to go!

    The combo I'm really after is Undead Paladin. My Naxx dreams can finally be realised!

    I would not consider choosing if you are using mister pacman or misses pacman to be "Character customization"

    yeah they are working on adding all the rest of the classes to the races, but the remaining ones are a bit tough.

    Paladin= Horse mount
    Druid= Animal forms
    Shaman= Totems

    Evoker the obvious.

    I wish there were a few more options for Felguards. I wonder if the feel puppy applies to Demo summons not just the perma pet

    Solid addition to the game. More customization = good.

    I hope they keep with class cosmetic additions like this, we need visible librams for paladins, potion pouches and concealed holsters for rogues, banners for warriors, etc.

    The more customization the more immersive the game is.

    Never thought about the mount part!

    Funny part is there've been nelf paladins in lore since Legion and a reasonable argument can be made that the OG priestesses were paladins (plate wearing warrior priests from the war of the ancients) and that's less of a stretch than the Tauren were. So it's always been a pretty simple step in the lore.

    Drae and nelf warlocks were always possible in lore but like nelf mages there was a huge cultural issue there. But I think at this point in the game the various races have been so exposed to warlocks working alongside the that I think opening up those restrictions isn't as bad as it might have been 2 or 3 expansions ago, imo. Just put in some flavor text and the like. But I'm creative I can come up with excuses from an RPer's perspective. No biggie.
