As awesome as the guild mount for the Horde looks (and by that I mean really fucking awesome), I am wondering like some others where exactly the player is going to sit on it! I mean, that stinger is hanging down pretty low, so either this skorpid mount is going to be freaking HUGE, or my tauren and orc characters are going to get constantly stabbed in the back by their own mount, which would look kinda stupid. Also wondering where they put the guild tabard banner on it. Looks to me like that big flat chitian panel on their front could be it. I'll have to look at the model one more time.

afaik there are no really ugly faces for Tauren females. Some look less friendly and cute than others, but not to compare with the things you can do to a female Dwarf if you want her to look really freaky.

My issue with the female worgen really is pretty much all around the eyes. I have no problem with them being more fierce overall. They should be fierce. However, this version really isn't there yet. It's not *just* that the iris is too light. It's not *just* that she appears to be on crack or looking in two different directions (crazy, but not in the insane, "imma kill you" kinda way). A big portion of my problem is with the brow line and how wide the eyes are. If we want them to look feral or angry, they really should have a downward pointing brow and the eyes shouldn't be so wide. It's the fact that she's continually looking surprised that bothers me. It gives an odd feral ditsiness, rather than fierceness.

My hope is if/when they update the model, they give this face a bit less of a surprised, and more of a fierce forehead. I expect during the next build or two we'll see a few pretty solid facial models.

I have no problem with them keeping this face for those people who want to have a character who looks like they just took a suppository. I'd just like to see the females have an option to have a more truly fierce face. Squinted, semi-glowing eyes with that snout would make for a much more convincing character.

Allow me to clarify my point.


(I took this picture from Ibbi's New Worgen female vs old Worgen female model thread since it's the quickest side by side I had access to)

Old Worgen Female
Pros: Eyes (Although I preferred the eyes on the original mask the most.), Non-snarling face, Ears, possibly Hair (I just prefer clean to ragged, even if it is a werewolf. It's not like they forget how to comb when they transform.)
Cons: Snout (Looks a bit more fox than wolf I think) and Body

New Worgen Female
Pros: Face (looks more wolf than fox now), better Body
Cons: Permanent snarling (Although I'm not sure if they have plans to make it so you can change that later), Eyes (They look very... Yea.), Ears (They look like they belong on a Goblin or Elf.), possibly Hair.

Basically, I prefer the old eyes, ears, and facial expression (The whole head basically) to the new, and I prefer the new body to the old. The new face doesn't even look ferocious. It looks, as I said before, like a mix between a Chihuahua and a rat that smelled something foul. It just looks silly. Go back to the old face (Not completely, but basically.) and keep the new body and I think they'd make a lot of people happier.

Admittedly, it probably won't make a difference since you'll never be looking at her face and you'll be wearing a helmet most of the time, but if we all started complaining about her ass then we'd all look much, much worse.

Edit: Don't get me wrong, I like the new model too, the snarling could work well. Just not with those eyes. Those soulless... doll-like eyes... Yep, the biggest problem is definitely the eyes.

Female worgen... why the hell did they change them from the awesome, non-rabid looking vixens of a month and some ago? This is the new female tauren of the Alliance.

Because, they didn't actually look like fearsome werewolves? Which is what they are? Who the hell wants a cuddly worgen. Not me, and I'm a female player who intends to play one as a main when Cat drops.

You can make something more vicious and intimidating without giving a wolf coke eyes. Plain and simple.

The worgen female looks more like a werecollie than a werewolf.

gotta love the crack head eyes on the new female worgen model xD and how the hell are hordies ment to ride the scorpion? i can imagin 3 ways my self...

1- they sit at the back near the tail (means blizz dont have to change the mounted position)

2- they sit up front with legs hanging off the front of the scorpions face/mouth (same reason as #2 but this would look lame :/)

3 - they surf it like tailors on there flying rugs (wich would again look wierd)

so yeah....frickin awsome looking mount but im worried on the riding position...

and where the fudge is the guild tabard ment to go? O.o hang off the tail? off the face? pincers?

This is a crappy picture of the old model. All blurry. And nay-sayers are gonna jump into "new one is more detailed = i like it more" wagon because they are mentally handicaped to realise that the screenshot itself is bad. Texture quality has not become better or detailed.

The ears and the eyes are curious. The eyes just say "i took some drug" but the ears ... theres a problem here

The ears of a wolf are directed in the same way as his eyes. A wolf is a hunter, not a prey. prey : eyes and ears directed toward the sides of the head / hunters : eyes and ears directed toward the front of the head
