Patch 4.3 Preview - Worgen Racial Mounts

I figured that it would be some sort of Carriage mount with horses pulling a wooden carriage... ... but this...... im speechless.

Is there even an announcement needed for this? They simply just put the regular Alliance mount vendor into the Worgen starting area, with either a new name for the same items, or a few of the same horses. Should have just stuck a line in the 4.3 patch notes.

ok...first off this is obviously an attempt to even out the mounts on each side for the achievments.

second, to anyone complaining that these are horses.....newsflash gilneans/worgen RODE horses! why is this a shocker? they fit lore wise.

third, to those saying blizzard are wasting time with this and should be making more for 4.3 well....somehow i dont think this took much time at all (lol).

fourth, most people complaining about lack of creativity in this would probably be lumped in with the people from my thrid point if they had put a lot of time into this.


so in conclusion: stfu, you got the mount balance you wanted. i dont think (didnt see it say) your losing running wild, ride something else if you dont like it. gratz on getting the mounts you wanted blizzard heard you loud and clear they tossed you a bone and all most of you can do is spit on them.

ps: i do however feel they didnt really need to advertise this on such a large scale.

I've always felt like they should've added two Gilnean horse mounts ("Gilnean Mustangs" or something) to even them out with the goblin's two racial mounts. Then, for the sake of balance (and because they're too big on mounts) give tauren a new "mount aura" version of Plainsrunning that works the same as Running Wild. They'd have their own unique stance and run animation, same as worgen, where they maybe lean forward and stamp their feet while standing, ready to charge.

Don't think I've felt the need to complain about anything in Cata (call me casual after all these years but I've had fun slacking) but W..T..F..!! Wow, Blizzard, that is effing lazy. I hope these are major jokes and the patch will have wtfbbqomgsauceisgood new mounts that take everyone by surprise. Yes, horses probably are the racially correct mount, but wtf are those? They look like shite!What is Gilnean about them?

I really like these horses, they look much nicer than the default ones - I look forward to riding around on this simple but sexy mount

Quitting over the addition of mounts, this is a new one to me.

Seriously though, it's not that original, as horses are already in game, but what else would HUMANS ride? They have been humans way longer than they have been worgen. They seem underwhelming, but chances are these are not finished models.

Okey, so.. lets see, i was reading the offcial forums yesterday about updating the old models.. and how lame blizz came up with some response saying they love to update things, but they need the resources and time.. well this proves the art-team is or fired or they stepped up cus they didn't get paid enough...

Oke on a serious note.. everyone can agree this is pethatic. Like previous posters said.. That blizz introduced this realy cool mordor orc kinda mount at blizzcon. We've never seen a prototype model or anything... it just got scrapped.
They realy need to start doing their best on the art team and have them more freedom in wow..

U can clearly see, everyone is tired of the lame rehashed content we get.

If these are placeholders, then they shouldn't have put out the announcement with them in such an underdeveloped state. If these aren't placeholders (Which, to be honest, I'm more inclined to believe), then this is quite possibly the laziest Blizzard has ever openly been - even after all these Blue responses of lack of resources (Translation: Can't be bothered).

When I get back from playing the likes of Braid, Bastion and Limbo to see this sort of embarassing display of aesthetic content from Blizzard, it genuinely makes me lose hope for them as a company.

wow thats silly, september fools, or what? x d Anyways, why dou you even care? I mean no one use ground mounts anymore above lvl 60. Its just for stable balacing, so collectors can stop whining.

I guess the people who complained enough about not getting a Gilnean mount made Blizzard cave in. And what's worse is that it's pretty much a rehash of Stormwind's. Seems like you can almost get everything from complaining now. But here's hoping this isn't the final product.

I feel like Blizzard is trolling us. Hard.
