Warrior – Colossal Dragonplate

A simple concept: Let’s make a warrior tier that looks like Deathwing! Gnarled dragon horn and angular elementium plating with burning fire behind it were the key ingredients.

We build our player armor from a number of base templates, which means the concepts need to conform to predetermined shapes. However, shoulder pads and helmets are uniquely modeled for each set and that gives us great opportunities to create eye-catching silhouettes. In this instance, the sweeping horn shapes ensure a powerfully brutal-looking set for warriors.

They look similar, yes. But it's not like they simply copied the model and recolored it.

Now that's a warrior looking set, and they even get the chin! That's awesome

Yep! Tier 2.5 was an odd tier indeed.

By the way, Tier 7 is the same design as Tier 3, hence why they didn't include it I believe

Resembles alot like Hunter t12 set, not bad looking though but still hunter t12.

WOAH.. Nothing is gonna top that in 4.3 :O

They previewed stuff you could still obtain and transmogrify, tier 3 probably wasn't included due to the fact it's not obtainable anymore.

The set looks really nice actually - one of the better sets this expansion in my opinion. What I can't stand though is the colour scheme. It just looks way too "red". I'd more opt for something along the lines of this (image alternates to the original every 2 seconds for comparison):

In my opinion, that looks way better.

Looks really great so far. That neon-red color looks a bit off, though ... it could definitely need some shades of yellow and white.

Not only that, but they are acting like T3 doesn't exist and are replacing it with the AQ class set.

Odd? Plate T2.5 has the worst models and colouring Blizzard ever committed. Lvl 1 greys look better.

Eh, more like they skipped unobtainable stuff. The gallery is for x-mog review purposes, so putting t3 there would be pointless

OOOOHHHH YEEAAAHHH...the only possible thing i have to complain about with this set is that it forces them to go back to the old "warrior must have horns/spikes on there heads" trend that they had every tier up until T11/T12...but being that it is meant to imitate Deathwing im not completely bummd about it :-)

Looks incredibly badass; looks like I need to get my warrior back to raiding.
