It's been confirmed the winner will be free to its faction, but yeah, it's kinda bullshit in the 'reality' aspect.

I didn't twist anything. You tried to make a polar opposite comparison that human stuff was overdone, after which I would say: indeed. As someone who hates how Blizzard equates Horde and Alliance as Orc and Humans.. and sidekicks.., I totally agree that we need less of that. But it's not as pushed in our face as Orc stuff (SKULLS, CHAINS, BONES, RAAWRRARRARRAR) is, at the moment.

Fair enough, but its just for the moment, then it will switch, because in the end, wow has and always will be Red vs Blue.

I play horde and I'll be voting for the Alliance bike because a non-trike tank treads type bike is a cool concept to me.

Man, I know you americans can be a little bit crazy sometime .. but woah, this is a bit much. I can't imagine something like this being produced in Europe, it's just so... lame is the word I think? Yeah. Sorry to say, but when I listen to them, how "serious" they are about it? It's just.. heh, well, I guess some people will enjoy this show but I'd rather see them waste their time and resources on something else. Like, you know... building a new lore. Working harder on connecting their gaming universe - hearthstone inside world of warcraft for example. Doing TV show from warcraft / diablo / starcraft. Anything but this would be more interesting I guess.

Which is pretty lame, imo, but this has been discussed in multiple large threads, so no use in sparking up a conversation about how it's basically Orcs vs Humans online with their buddies on the sidelines.

I can see where they are going with it though. "Members of the losing faction can buy said bike off Blizz store for their faction. Also, because loser bike got so much interest, we have decided to go ahead and make that available to all players via the Blizz Store too."

Yep. You're right. Personally though, I think this is a lame marketing exercise angled at the small amount of people that might see this series, have never played WoW before, and want to 'ride' one of these bikes in game.

And to revise my previous statement, I don't think this will be paid for in subs, I think this will be paid for by the hundreds of thousands of players that buy one(or both :P) off the Blizz store.


I put 0% faith in that statement by Blizz.

xD i think it will be revealed in the last episode that both bikes are TOO COOL to only make one available in game, and both factions will get theirs

what a boring crap srsly... even repeating "epic", "awesome", "cool" didn't help them.

Grrr I can't stand these reality shows. Their frequent pauses to generate suspense make me insane.

At any rate, I'm looking forward to seeing the final product. If they can avoid having the horde/alliance (I dislike the lion) emblems on it I might actually vote for the one I think looks the best, instead of the one for my own faction. Even though I play horde, I do like some of the alliance aesthetic that they were talking about in this episode.

The bikes look identical except for the front end... FAIL

Interesting, I'm definitely going to be following the progress of this contest. I think the Alliance bike has potential, it looks very sleek, although I feel perhaps the front track should be a wheel.

Then I saw the Horde trike, and couldn't stop laughing and thinking 'No 5 is alive!'.

They really need to rename the series to "Blizzard's mid-life crisis"

alliance will win because blizzard want more horde players to move into alliance side.
