We’re expanding our gifting service by allowing you to send Blizzard Balance to your friends, offering you the benefits of retail gift cards in a new and easy-to-use digital format.

Sending Balance gifts is simple: visit the Blizzard Shop, select one of the suggested values—or enter a custom amount, click the “Gift Balance” button, and select a friend.

Blizzard will deliver your gift along with a notification and personalized message directly to your friend, who can then claim the digital gift card balance onto their account.

As with other gifts, you’ll receive an email and a notification in the Blizzard App when a friend sends you Blizzard Balance, informing you that the gift has arrived and is ready to be claimed.

Giving the gift of Blizzard Balance is a fast and easy way to ensure that your friends and family will get the Blizzard product that they want most.

Happy Gifting!

Sick! Been asking for this in the Shop forums, hated not being able to gift pre orders for things like hearthstone unless both you and the other person have a wow account.

I honestly thought this was a gag joke at first seeing the image. Thinking that you can pay for Blizzard to balance the game for $25 dollars. Was sad to find I can't pay $25 to add single minded fury back into the game. Oh well. rip wow

    In battle.net balance...

Pretty sure the boosters, don't want money that they can only spend on Blizzard products.
"Hell yes we'll camp BMAH spots across a multitude of servers thus killing normal players' chances of ever getting a bid in, to get you the Zulian tiger for 2000 euros, but please pay us in Battle.net balance lol!"...

There are many ways to work around it, they can turn that balance into gold from tokens and then sell that gold.

SO now you wash money... NOICE. I wonder how much does this crash the wow token price. I bet before the next exp. it will be 500k.

You can't however send someone battle.net balance from your account to someone else. You have to actually use real money for this. I'm sure there are limitations like always, you can't gift someone outside of US or whatever because of laws and regulations. It's basically the same issue as redeeming a wow token for balance if you're not a US citizen.
