We gotta hand it to the team. Cinematic - both in-game, CGI 3D and 2D - are the best thing to happen from BFA. Say what you want about the game, but this is objectively beautiful. I'll miss you Saurfang.
Almost 24 minuts of pure soy and treason disguised as honor and wish for better future.
I even though I despise Saurfang all that virtue signalling in this xpac I have to admit these cinematics are one of many reasons I feel so good about playing this game and why I enjoy this universe so much.
It's a shame Blizzard poured money into this instead of the devteam struggling to fix the mess that was BFA's gameplay systems.
"Reeee the same people don't work on both!" No, but it's the same money, peasants.
So why cut something that is great like the Cinematic? Better not making „15 Year old Patch WoW“ and putting the money and time into BfA. Would be way better.

Yeah it really is good quality of animation. They should continue it. But Golden and other marvel grade writers should be fired.

The people making these cinematics are in house most likely and getting the same paycheck regardless of what they are working on, so doubt "money was poured" into anything more than it already was. Attacking people just makes you look more wrong to the rest of us.
Man, tell me why we still don't have a Warcraft movie like this? In just ONE expansion we got 23min of pure top level CGI that, in my opinion, no other company has ever produced.
To see the whole thing is definitely more touching than watching each part with so much time in between. On the other hand you notice how much cliche overdose the whole story got. I might have enjoyed it if they didn't sacrifice 2 of the very few interesting horde characters for it(only other being Rexxar).

Exactly. This was put together by regular staff at blizz that handles this kind of stuff. It wasn't some special project, and likely took that employee an afternoon to finish. It's also laughable the notion that what someone perceives to be "BFA's problems" could be solved by just diverting money. Things don't quite work that way.
Glad he's dead but hope we get more of this type of content. Always wondered why WC3 got like 9 cinematics but WoW would only get 1 per expansion.
I mean... you're comparing apples to oranges. The CGI effort that goes into these cinematic isn't cheap and takes quite some time to do. I wish they had done some more of these back in WOTLK, could you image some more cinematics like the lich king opening one where he summons Sindragosa from the ice and rallies the undead?
Its not like we had a 2 hour movie costing $160 million that apparently no one except China liked to watch. Now imagine making a movie with this expensive CGI and bomb just as bad :P

Because you can't cram everything into a 2 hour movie

You have that backwards, only the US didn't like it.
What makes me sad about this is that all this effort, work and time went into making these great CGs, yet they chose to focus on Sadfang. Not Tyrande and Genn debating Darkshore and how to strike it. Not Azshara making plans with Sylvanas for Nzoth's revival. Not Magni trying to work with the Dragons and Mother to save Azeroth. Not Jaina in the Blighted Lands working through her hypocrisy. Not Anduin revealing he has a setting other than Moral Arbiter of Good.
Nope. The Chronicles of Sadfang and his quest for non-honour and an Unified Horde and Alliance as decreed by Anduin Wrynn.
