Patch 8.3 PTR - Build 32593: New Vulpera Racial, Legendary Transmog, Masks, More!

I thought Blizzard said some years ago that it was technically too hard to increase backpack space.

Wait. If you can increase the backpack just like that, how about you increase that for all characters. 20 is very small.

They already did that from 16 to 20 with the authenticator.

They said it was incredibly hard to do so. They then went and worked on it slowly over time and managed to make it work, thus the authenticator +4 slots, and now this racial.

im guessing you dont have both the auth systems for your account since u said that, if you did you would know you get extra bag slots for doing it.

I wonder if we'll be able to get the Mists Cloak effects as well

Early reports from WoWhead users say that the effects are not present, it might just be a PTR bug though and could change.

And rogues already running around with Thunderfury if they got their hidden appearance, and the upgraded version of Sulfuras from Firelands.

I don't see what the big deal is. It's not hard to get (just very time-consuming, unless you're supremely lucky) and it's ugly compared to modern weapons. Hell, there's fairly easy to get weapons from BWL that look better.

Basically, opening up transmogs for legendaries isn't going to suddenly cause everyone to have them out and even if they do it's "meh".

I'm actually really happy for this, i never ended up getting TF (farmed it for a bit but kinda lost interest because you couldn't x-mog it anyway.) It gives me a reason to go back and do the raids again (maybe even get a couple of transmog pieces i might be missing).

I have Shadowmourne, never bothered with the Staff or Val'anyr. Same with the glaives, but I see this as positive, alot of ppl farmed them (or still are farming) so they'll be able to use the x-mog

I don't have to guess that you've missed the point. Anyone can (and really should) get the authenticator and should already have an extra 4 bag slots.

Everyone has still asked for the default backpack to be even bigger considering the size of the additional bags are much, much bigger than your default bag. Originally, the biggest bag you could get was only 2 slot bigger than your default bag. Now you can get bags easily with 32 slots when your default is 20 slots (yes, with the authenticator)...or approaching twice the size (actually twice the size of the true default bag).

The default bag size should have been growing already. While I applaud that Blizz provided a few extra slots to the default bag, they did it as a reward to save them money (yes, it was a lot of effort on their part to deal with stolen accounts).

I don't view this as a huge deal myself (mostly because I've abandoned Retail), but I can understand why people would be upset. This adds a substantial utility to a race that doesn't really exist on other races, and Vulpera already has some rather notable racials as it is.

I already have every legendary across a variety of characters, so I guess I can look forward to unlocking a lot of appearances for free in 8.3. Mostly looking forward to Shadowmourne and the bow from Sunwell. The legendary rogue daggers are pretty great too, but I think I prefer both the Mage Tower artifact appearances.

I got the warglaives Main Hand, but can't transmog it on any char on ptr yet, not even the one where I got it in the bags. Anyone that can transmog them on PTR?

You spend a tiny bit of cash and you have more bag slots than you could ever fill..I feel they swapped an interesting racial with potential for farming gold more easily (the satchel) and swapped it out for a super useless one.. Meanwhile the mechagnome OP racials remain unchanged.

Didn't you get the memo? It's too hard to do (for all), so just the one will make do!

I will only believe leg mog when it hit live servers. If that means my 120 Frost DK can dw glaives because i have the pair on my old 70 twink, then that is awesome.

So this means that a vulpera with authenticator has a 28 slot backpack?!?!? HELL YES

It was - but since the 32 bit client got dumped, I imagine a lot of stuff can happen now that couldn't before.
