In the shadow of Shaladrassil, the Nightmare permeates every inch of the once-lush forest. Where the eldest and greatest druids once tended to the woods, meditating beneath the great world tree, corruption and madness now reign. Deep within the tangled thicket, the Nightmare Lord Xavius works to break the will of his greatest prize.

Archdruid Glaidalis
Glaidalis was once known as among the most talented shapeshifters in all of Azeroth, and the elders of Moonglade would regularly send their most promising disciples to his care for instruction. But as has sadly too often been the case, those who are closest to nature are often the first to fall into the Nightmare's clutches.

• Overview - Archdruid Glaidalis is a master shapeshifter, transforming into bear and cat forms with ease as he calls down corrupted starshards to bombard his foes.
  
  • Damage Dealers -
    • Avoid being in front of Archdruid Glaidalis when he is casting Primal Rampage.
  • Healers -
    • Avoid being in front of Archdruid Glaidalis when he is casting Primal Rampage.
    • Quickly heal targets affected by Grevious Tear to above 90% of their maximum health.
  • Tanks -
    • Position Archdruid Glaidalis so that Primal Rampage does not run over other players.
• Nightfall - Pulls a fragment of a Nightmare-corrupted star from the sky, creating an area of nightmare corruption that inflicts 140,000 Shadow damage to anyone in the area.
  
  • Nightmare Abomination - Crawls towards its prey, leaving a trail of corruption in its wake.
• Primal Rampage - Archdruid Glaidalis bashes all enemies in a cone in front of him, inflicting 560,000 Physical damage and knocking them back.
  Archdruid Glaidalis then charges forward inflicting 350,000 Physical damage and knocking back anyone in his way.
• Grievous Leap - Leaps at an enemy, inflicting 210,000 Physical damage and causing a Grievous Tear.
  Archdruid Glaidalis will then leap back, inflicting 210,000 Physical damage and causing a Grievous Tear.
  
  • Grievous Tear - Inflicts 127,400 Physical damage every 3 sec until healed past 90% of maximum health.

Oakheart
An ancient who formed from an offshoot of Shaladrassil itself, Oakheart has survived the Sundering, the Cataclysm, and countless blights. The ancient was able to weather these storms by drawing strength from the essence of the Dream itself. But now, that wellspring has become his undoing.

• Overview - Oakheart is a devastating brute that pummels the players with powerful physical attacks and Nightmare Breath. Beware the Strangling Roots erupting from the ground during the fight.

    • Avoid being in front of Oakheart when he is casting Nightmare Breath.
  • Healers -
    • Avoid being in front of Oakheart when he is casting Nightmare Breath.
    • Crushing Grip deals significant damage.
  • Tanks -
    • Face Oakheart away from allies so allies are not hit by Nightmare Breath.
    • Crushing Grip deals significant damage.
• Oakheart -
  
  • Crushing Grip - Oakheart picks up and crushes his target, inflicting 455,000 Nature damage every 1 sec for 5 sec. Oakheart then throws his target to the ground, inflicting 546,500 Nature damage to anyone in the area.
  • Uproot - Oakheart calls for Vilethorn Saplings to erupt from the ground and attack nearby enemies.
  • Strangling Roots - Roots emerge under nearby enemies, inflicting 81,950 Physical damage every 1 sec. and rooting them in position for 60 sec or until destroyed.
  • Shattered Earth - Shatters the ground around the caster, inflicting 446,250 Nature damage and knocking back enemies.
  • Nightmare Breath - Inflicts 436,500 Fire damage in a cone in front of the caster and then burns the targets, inflicting 182,000 Fire damage every 2 sec. for 6 sec.

Dresaron
Once a young green drake, tending to whelps in the shadow of the great world tree, Dresaron is now engulfed in nightmare, lost in a fog of hatred and fear. He lashes out with powerful wings and a withering breath, unleashing his rage on any who stumble into his clutches.

• Overview - Dresaron engages the players amidst of a clutch of corrupted dragon eggs. Occasionally during the fight Dresaron will use Down Draft to push the players back into the eggs, spawning whelplings.

• Dresaron -
  
  • Breath of Corruption - Breathes a cone of acid, inflicting 336,000 Nature damage every 1 sec for 2 sec and reducing the armor of anyone hit by 5% for 6 sec.
  • Down Draft - Dresaron aggressively flaps his wings, pushing enemies away and inflicting 182,000 Nature damage every 2 sec for 8 sec.
  • Earthshaking Roar - Dresaron roars, shaking the ground around him, inflicting 364,000 Nature damage to nearby enemies and causing a cave in, inflicting 175,000 Nature damage every 1 sec.

  • Hatch Whelpling - Disturbing a Corrupted Dragon Egg causes a Hatespawn Whelplng to erupt and begin to feed.

Shade of Xavius
Once a powerful mage, and a councilor to Queen Azshara, Xavius forged a pact with Sargeras to enable the Legion's first invasion of Azeroth. Cursed and tormented in the wake of that defeat, Xavius now projects his true power from the Nightmare into our world, focusing his dark might to break the spirit of his old rival, Malfurion.

• Overview - The Shade of Xavius, a shadowy reflection of Xavius's true power, sits in the hollowed-out core of Shaladrassil tormenting Malfurion. At 50% health, the Shade of Xavius casts Apocalyptic Nightmare in an attempt to burn Shaladrassil down around him.

  • Feed on the Weak - Consumes an enemy's soul, inflicting 144,000 Shadow damage every 1 sec for 5 sec.
  • Nightmare Bolt - Launches a bolt of Nightmare energy, inflicting 450,000 Shadow damage.
  • Nightmare Bolt - Launches a bolt of Nightmare energy, inflicting 819,500 Shadow damage and applying Waking Nightmare.
    
    • Waking Nightmare - The target is trapped in a waking nightmare, Silenced and Pacified unless standing near an ally.
  • Induced Paranoia - The Shade of Xavius heightens the fears of paranoia in his enemies. Enemies affected take 436,500 Shadow damage and are Horrified for 5 sec if they stand close to allies.
  • Apocalyptic Nightmare - The Shade of Xavius erupts with nightmare fire, igniting the Shaladrassil and inflicting 773,500 Fire damage to nearby enemies. The ensuing inferno will then rain fire from above, inflicting 273,500 Fire damage to anyone it hits.
    
    • Apocalyptic Empowerment - The burning nightmare fire empowers the Shade of Xavius, increasing all damage dealt by 5%.
