exactly same issure here
from the STL area using charter and cannot connect to wow nor the website.
Qwest, Utah here and having the same issue, was running Blood Furnace on my Hunter alt so it wasn't a huge deal but kind of annoying to have the connection drop with no warning.
Might be a stupid question but those of you that can connect still can you get to us.battle.net?
I really, really wish there was another ISP available in my area. Charter is the only one I can get where I live. Yay for living in the boonies.
Twin Ports represent.
Too bad we're representing something crappy

I've had many problems with charter in the past, usually around this time. it gets to be horrendously laggy, and i'm just glad i'm not the only one. Also glad to see that this "Unable to Connect" problem isn't just my own. I was supposed to start raiding with the guild tonight, missed the last two weeks, and they all probably think i'm trying to duck out on it. ffffffff
Using qwest, can't connect either.
Can't watch youtube videos either, oddly enough.
Another Charter customer here. Not sure it is them though, as my tracert shows:

Do any of you claiming Charter is the problem actually even reading any of the other comments or are you just joining the "let's jump Charter bandwagon"? Again, many folks from many different services are having the same issue as those claiming it's a specific service provider.
It is not Charter, it is an effect of an earthquake close to Blizz's homebase. It is just effecting providers differently. Qwest, Comcast and Charter are all affected as far as I know, and it is only in certain regions due to the fact that some people that have these service providers in other areas can still get on.

Internet flickerd then off then back for about 30 mins, earthquake near San Jose CAlif 30 mins ago, guessin that was it.
Thats very odd, I can connect just fine.
Also from St Louis, MO. Can't connect with charter.
With Charter also, but not sure it is their issue. My traceroute stops with 206.111.5.190.ptr.us.xo.net [206.111.5.190]
Thread going on Blizzard's Forums. There's a couple blue posts but I don't think they realize there's some sort of internet outage right now....
us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/1827664639
meh, i'm sure that charter is like the father of qwest and comcast.
(father as in they branch off of some of charters servers, like say Virgin mobile branches off sprints towers)
any chance you can link what the blues said? i know mine is down and i cant get on the forums
Phew, makes me glad to see that it's not just me...
Definitely isn't Charter. I'm in Iowa and using Qwest. Anyone know of a blue post relating to this bullshizzle?
