"Glory Daze" is a new really good 80s' college series

Futurama
Family Guy
The Office
30 Rock
Dragon Ball is always fun
Friends
Flight of the Conchords

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR!
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Arrested Development
Two of the best comedy series you will find, period.
You should give True blood and Six feet under a chance.
Six feet under is more a psychological drama serie instead of much action, it has a dark sense of humor which isnt for everyone Also it's very weird if you watch this after having watched dexter because micheal c. hall (dude who plays dexter) is the leading acter in this serie as well but a very different character.
True blood is amazing as well, three seasons have been aired in america and 4th inc soon in spring/summer i believe. It's made by the same directors as dexter =)
I'll agree with Slashnox on How I Met Your Mother and Scrubs, but, I can't believe nobody has mentioned The Simpsons or Two and a Half Men.
Two and a half men.

SCRUBS <3
Lost!
I can go on and on, but these two are my favourite.
Scrubs because it's hilarious and there's a serious touch about it too, and Lost... is... awesome
Sherlock (BBC remake of Sherlock Holmes)
Doctor Who
Arrested Development
and if you like something that's not fictional, Derren Brown is always incredible. As is Prof. Brian Cox's series about the universe.
I really find Supernatural a really good TV series, if you're in to that sort of biblic apocaplypse hell vs heaven stuff.
Dexter has already been mentioned but i think it's by far the most entertaining TV series of all time.
