How did they manage to copy the Horde bike's looks quite well, and the alliance one barely resembles the actual bike? That thing just looks... like it was released in vanilla graphics.

Casting totem while feared doesnt make any sense, i am glad they are returning the tremor totem like it used to be.

Just speculation, but it sounds like we are going to see fear return as a boss mechanic in WoD, this ought to make for some fun encounters.

I don't, and I don't even play Alliance, so not speaking for myself. But you know, others do care a lot about exclusivity... So apologies for trying to give a positive outlook on the matter of Alliance chopper!

Vanilla graphics are a much lower texture resolution compared to anything recently made, including the Alliance bike/snowmobile thing here. The only real difference I'm seeing is that the real life version is incredibly shiny (too much so, in my opinion) and WoW really doesn't do shiny metal, which is why it doesn't resemble the Alliance bike as much as the Horde version which used more brushed aluminum type stuff (and thus less shine) in the real life counterpart.

One thing that warmed my heart was how many Horde players were actually wanting the Alliance to get a ride too, and now it's happening, not that I'm surprised. It would have been an insult to the builders who worked hard on it NOT to include it.

Yes it makes sense, why would I want to throw away a totem if I'm not even feared?! :S
I have enough shit to pop during burst, why would I want to waste that burst time with a bloody anti fear totem?

I'm ok with this as a Horde player, whats the point of wasting the artand resources, over the years they have sort of balanced up the horde and alliance mount/pet problems and imalances, although I'm still piszed allys seem to get more horde mounts than we have alliance type, like scorpians and raptor style, especially horde have no tigers now that we can farm the ZG mount.

Edit. Actually I just looked at the photo of the actual chopper, that model is a disgrace it looks nothing like it. They should change it and make it look a bit better.

After so much effort going into both bikes, and the models for both, anyone who didn't forsee that they'd be adding both somehow to the game... Well. I'd have to say that's a more than a little short sighted. the whole thing was for publicity. There was no way they were NOT going to add both.

I'd like to find out the cost for this though.

As for the winners? Well. Those poor hordies have lost so much lately. Better to let them win something after all, hmm? <3

Adding the Alliance bike to the game isn't a surprise to anyone. We knew it was going to happen.
