Not really. He was outside the church shooting into it for a few mins., then walked inside and shot some more. I do not think as many would have died if someone or several inside the church had been armed. These scums like to pick soft defenseless targets. Plus if this story is true about someone outside the church shooting him and he drops his rifle and flees in his truck is true, it shows he may have been stopped from doing more damage.

It is the same as gun control. It's the desire to limit the freedoms of others in order to feel more safe. Of course you don't see them as the same, because you clearly support one form of control, but not the other. I have no desire to limit guns, nor do I have a desire to limit immigration. I'm not going to restrict the actions of an innocent person in order to feel more safe. The second I do, I no longer get to complain when someone does the same to me.

The difference is the U.S. owes nothing to a potential immigrant, they are not yet a citizen.

Do we actually know that? I tend to wait until reliable sites can do such things, especially since the authorities moved to shut down his Facebook site almost immediately. They don't provide any sources, and could have easily made it up. Considering their other articles, I'd say calling it fake news may actually be an understatement.

If the government outlaws guns then people possessing guns are criminals, not innocents. When those criminals resist law enforcement they become even greater criminals, not innocents.

In the end, it's still a person wanting to take away someone else's freedom in order to feel more safe. In both cases, that desire is to limit the freedoms of innocent people. The gun-control people and the Muslim-control people are the same. They are both hypocritical authoritarians.

Firearm homicides are closer to 11,000 using CDC 2014 numbers, but I don't think anyone is okay with it, they're just not willing to enact sweeping gun confiscation.
