Because if it were a real-world situation, there wouldn't be a number above the persons head, indicating level. Yes, I get it’s a game, but as said, I roleplay, meaning I look at it as if it’s happening at that moment. I see. I kill. I move on with my travels.

I always try to understand dumb ideas like that...... so life isn't fair, and because the real world isn't a perfect and ideal place fictional and imaginary worlds shouldn't be better?

Sounds pretty stupid to me. Nowhere it is easier to have a perfectly fair world than in interactive virtual worlds aka games, but we should because real world can't have that stuff that easy.... sounds pretty dumb and shortsighted to me. To each their own.... as simple minded as they might be i guess.

i somehow feel bad even when i kill someone in a pvp worldquest, and i dont really know why.
even when playing on a pvp server, i feel bad when i start the fight and kill them..

and no, its not that i am bad at pvp, i just feel guilty when i kill someone who just wants to do his worldquests.

A ton of people will turn on pvp while leveling, with an xp bonus, a huge amount of people will just turn on pvp and take the risk. Even people who wouldn't have pvp on at max level, would switch it on just for the faster leveling.

it will be worth it only for the first day IMO, as after that, other faction will hit 120 and come to your islands and those max levels WILL be out for blood, hunting lowlevels trying to get some XP. It will likely not be worth it at all for some weeks after launch and after that it will at best a nuisance...

I cannot express how much I enjoy posts like this one here. Because I know the OP and his/her ilk will soon live in a world of total gank deprivation.

Unlike in 2004 we do today live in a world with near perfect community communication. Which means that regardless of which classes or specs are FOTM in WPvP, *everybody* with similar ideas as the OP will know about it nearly instantly, and they will play those specs exclusively for maximum ganking potential. Which means any regular player, who switches on their PvP flag, will almost always be at a huge disadvantage in WPvP. Meaning they will get farmed to death. Try to resist you say? Incoming cross realm gank squad, coordinated via private Discord servers.

Classic PvP servers will be even worse. Did people forget that in classic healer gear had +Healing, while dps gear had +Damage? Today, again with perfect out-of-game communication, a solo healer will be at a *huge* disadvantage in Classic WPvP. Nor can they easily change spec while leveling. So leveling healer main specs are going to be farmed to *death* on Classic PvP realms, which by then will have seen a huge influx of players like the OP and his friends, as their fun is over on Retail.

Basically Classic PvP realms will have virtually zero healers at max level. Meaning PvE will be dead, leaving empty realms with OP & friends standing about looking for easy ganks. The tears and salt will be glorious!

I'm glad to be on a PvE realm with most of my chars. Last time I logged my rogue, there was a team of 10 tards waiting outside the spawn point in Antoran Wastes, farming people. I had to do WQ stealthed or using WQGF.

Hopefully, when this xpac will hit, I'll be able to either not care about the bonus xp/rep if it sucks, or just activate it for the end of the quest (the last mob, the last thing to loot, the last thing to activate if that's automatic like WQ).

And I'll still be able to /laugh at losers in PvP-on that desperately need to gank lowbies. I hope they'll have to deal with PvP-voluntary people that will gank them, as I'm pretty convinced lowbies-farmers are insanely low-skilled garbage.

The more often players are ganked the less likely they will be to turn on their PVP flag. The less often they are ganked the more likely they will be to turn on their PVP flag. Stick to same power level PVP and you might find you get more enjoyment out of it, versus chasing all the lowbies to flag out.

That being said, I don't go out of my way to find and destroy lowbies, but if I find one and I can kill it, it will die.
It just blows my mind that people get so triggered and defensive over killing people in a game with literal zero losses for dying, I wonder how some of you would function in a game like EVE Online or one of those games with gear and/or exp loss on PvP death.

Would you just throw up and rope and end your life after dying?
