Where did you ding 60 on your FIRST toon in Vanilla?

The announcement of Classic WoW has brought back some memories. One of them was the seemingly impossibly slow pace from 58 to 60. Like many others, the final bars on 59 were a true grind-fest (but we didn't complain back then). I remember spending a few hours on the ice of Lake Kel'Theril in Winterspring, killing the tormented spirits over and over...

Where did you grind it out at level 59, to get to 60 the very first time?

IIRC It was Silithus, grinding out Cenarion Rep, but that was sooooo long ago....i used to have screenshots, but that drive died years ago too :-(

It was March 15 2005, in played time was 17 days and 16 hours. I start playin February 11 2005, so it took me more than a month to level up. I was killing mobs on Winsterspring i think, i think some snow tigers because i was also farming leather and stuff. I started playing on a Troll Hunter, still my main, 12 years later.

I hit level 60 sometime in February 2005. Sadly I had a mass purge of WoW files shortly before TBC. Few screenshots survived from that era.

I think it was in Blasted Lands, farming for drops basically. I had some luck there previously, so I returned at 58 and pretty much grinded most of, if not all, the way to 60.

I THINK I was killing yetis in winterspring when I dinged 60 on my mage, but it's been so long.

Probably EPL. I can't remember which toon leveled where, but I recall that being the usual place. I do remember (at least) one dinging in Silithus, but I don't think that was my first one. I'm not sure about Winterspring or Blasted Lands, but I have memories of questing and grinding in those places as well.
