So i i bought a 144hz gsycn 1440p monitor and from reviews the colors are bad so i followed a color calibration that people post online. When i first start wow its darker like the screen colors but then when i enable full screen 165hzs it goes all brighter??

Wasn't that always the same? When you have it in windowed it uses your desktop gamma, but when you go fullscreen it uses the in-game setting?

As for OP, make sure you don't have any sort of special color modes enabled in OSD like "game mode" or "cinema mode" etc, this usually makes things pretty distorted.

Your panel is TN which is kinda shit, but it's Dell meaning it's decent TN at least. Factory reset it to basic settings in OSD and move up from there.

Like Gaidax mentioned, dont use the monitors inbuild profile mode like game mode on etc. Just enable the 165 hz option from the nvidia/amd panel and thats it. If you could return it (30 days return option), to get another monitor, i suggest you get the Predator XB271HU

OT. Like @Cyrops said, when you go fullscreen it doesn't use the desktop gamma settings.
