No, the most popular streamers are still guys that gain views for being pro, have a funny personality, or both. The "IRL category might as well be renamed "Cam Girls" and will retain its base, but I doubt they will touch the celebrities like Lirik (did I spell that right?) and Kripp. Twitch is still gaming/nerd based streaming.

I don't think there's ANYONE (well maybe like 1 person somewhere?) annoyed/bothered/mad/uncomfortable with female streamers. If a girl wants to stream while she's playing a game or doing 'RL' things then so be it. Most people just draw the line at the really REALLY obvious 'camgirls', girls using their 'assets' to acquire views. These girls aren't dumb, they know what they're doing.

Now, that brings the conversation to a different position, what these girls do is entirely up to them, it's their body after all, the question is where does Twitch draw the line? Does Twitch draw a line? Does Twitch just come out and say "you know what, all these 'camgirls' streaming are getting a lot of hits and putting more money in our pockets so we're okay with it"? Surely you don't think they added an 'RL' category because they thought people wanted to watch summit or Dr. Disrespect make a sandwich and read a book or jump rope.

I think the biggest issue is that Twitch isn't enforcing their own rules. The cleavage rule in particular, is rarely ever upheld by the sites moderation staff, which is a double standard. They'll ban someone for saying something racist because it's against the rules, but inappropriate clothing on a website that should be aimed at most age groups, is not a rule that is properly upheld.

I don't hate these girls as much as I hate the pathetic motherfuckers that enable them to begin with. Said motherfuckers have a choice and this is the choice they make and this is what it encourages.

Now, Twitch could pull their thumbs out of their asses and deal with it, but this seems to net them so much money that they haven't. Yet at the same time we're not allowed to stream adult themed games on Twitch, hell we can't even show a virtual tit without fear of a ban.

If we wanted to watch bouncy tits, there are plenty of porn sites. The issue is that Twitch has terrible filtering for flushing out inappropriate content and keeping minors away from viewing said content.

Imagine the outrage if some dude streamer wore low-cut pants that exposed his genitals.
