Lets say 24 months after classic launch. Blizzard wipe the servers clean or moves the servers to TBC. They also make the necessary adjustments to realm numbers, so that if fewer realms are needed they just remove some.

TBC runs for 24 months - reset or move forward
WOTLK runs for 24 months - reset or move forward

I don't see anything wrong with any of this.
You don't see anything wrong with this? How about diluting the playerbase further into little expansion servers? And you cannot reset or shutdown willy nilly when there are still players that want to play that particular time period.

I thought vanilla fanboys hated everything about the later expansions and their QOL changes? And it's rather funny looking at your response and then looking at your signature.

To ask for TBC/Wrath/etc is to basically ask for retail all over again.

When we looked at their ruins, we marked the danger of that height.

This one. If they're going to make a TBC server, they should still make it matter. There needs to be an experience of the game how it was, not just skip it, because if they do that, they might as well just start all characters at 60 to give people that "TBC feeling."

If Classic is a huge success, they should probably keep going on with the game from there. At that point, they have two options; roll some of the Classic servers over into TBC servers, or just make people start over once the TBC servers go live. The second option isn't really going to fly because then people that play casually won't really get into it. They'll have just experienced the Classic WoW experience, leveling a character, taking the time it takes on there while still playing BfA. If they then forced you to reroll a new character on their new TBC servers, there's no doubt it would severely limit the amount of people willing to do so, and therefore essentially kill those servers right from the start. They'll never just let you copy and paste characters from one to the other so you have two of the same character, that just doesn't fit into their model at all. Maybe, and it's a big maybe depending on how desperate they get, they'd allow for purchasing of a boosted character, but I hope they don't even get that thought in their heads.
