*shrug* I've got no idea why people want to play a 14 year old MMO.

Go play runescape classic if you want it so bad.

Purists can go back to their illegal server..
To add onto this, the idea that Classic is going to even resemble vanilla is a fucking riot when it's Blizzard we are talking about.

Do purists just completely forget all the dumb, horrible design decisions Blizzard made coming out of Vanilla? You think they are going to -not- do what they normally do with projects like this? Haha. Hahahaha.

All I've got to say is: money and the consumers willing to spend it.
There is absolutely no basis for individual rights to firearms or self defense under any contextual interpretation of the second amendment of the United States Constitution. It defines clearly a militia of which is regulated of the people and arms, for the expressed purpose of protection of the free state. Unwillingness to take in even the most basic and whole context of these laws is exactly the road to anarchy.

Wow, never seen this poster make threads like this one ever before.

A big fat NO is more than enough I'd say.

How. Just fucking how? Where are these millions of people coming from? You've got a hundred thousand~ (more than likely botted) signatures for an illegal private server which is about a drop in the barrel for total players who have ever played World of Warcraft, and even a tiny, tiny fraction of people even currently subscribed.

This would be like if they made "flying only" servers for pro-flight players and the few hundred thousand people affected by that can enjoy their 'game mode'.

You're welcome to wait all you want. Respect dissenting opinions though and stop telling millions of players their opinions don't matter because they haven't played on pirate servers for 10 years.

At the end of the day your obsession isn't worth anything.

For many years people have requested classic servers. Both here and on official forums. Don’t start with your “purist” can go back to their illegal servers crap. You can stay on your retail servers.

They are the reason blizzard is doing this. Not for you. Not for anyone that hasn’t wanted them for a long time. This isn’t meant to be fun ride for a couple months. Let the people have what they

People won't be playing vanilla for long anyway, so why waste ressources for qol improvements?

  10. #30
I want small QoL improvements, like to see all stats, classic wow doesn't show you your spell damage and crit etc.

This is the time to make our voice heard. Those people that want Classic WoW to become a mirror image of the 2005 game should need to stop looking down upon all the millions of other players that understand the need for quality of life improvements.

There are millions of eager veterans ready to join Classic WoW but those millions of returning players won't remain playing for very long if they come back to the game they left.

We need to take a step back and understand that quality of life improvements like Transmog, Dungeon Finder, LFR, among other things are factual, non-subjective improvements to the game as a whole and even as a genre.

Just because you've been stuck for the past decade playing on random illegal private servers that place trojan miners on your system, run intricate gold selling cartels among other things.. doesn't mean you're entitled to deciding what's best for the rest of the community.

Please don't tell me to go back to retail because I'll tell you to go back to your current pirate server.. (that argument doesn't work), we should be working together towards building a Classic WoW experience worth our time and money in 2017.

We should understand by now that vanilla wow implemented a lot of archaic systems if we're comparing it to today's standards. It was a brilliant game for its time but even brilliant games get old.

It's time to accept other opinions, it's time to let go and share this brilliant old game with younger generations.

There are other threads discussing the possibility of changes to Classic WoW.

    Please use those.
