Yeah I do actually remember that time when my then guild was 4 bosses in to HFC raiding 3 nights/week at around world 150 rank and I re-subbed for the first time since Highmaul, re-rolled to a new class and was carried through the first 4 and critical to our gorefiend kill even without the legendary ring (ghost duty as arms war). Might seem like a niche example but not as uncommon as you'd think. You've been able to do this since literally Vanilla.
What's your played on your warrior at 110? Your DH? I don't care what you do right now. You have proclaimed you already have them all. I care how long it took you to get there. Not that I believe that's all you've ever done the entire time you've played them unless you made them early on and have played them and done that since release. At which point you've had almost 16 months to acquire your legos and your diatribe of "I swear this is all I ever do and it only takes me 20 hours a week!" means nothing. As an aside, 20 hours a week isn't casual, which is what we're talking about here, casuals and alts. I have the ones I want on my main, mostly because I got lucky and got the best ones early, I just want to feel like playing my alts isn't a waste of time. Almost all of them are parked right now farming gold via missions because they got utility or bad legos for their first two. The only one I play regularly got 2 good ones right away. It's simply not worth the time investment without good legos that almost all specs need to be competitive.
I started my Arms Warrior about 2.5 months ago, getting Soul, Aggramar, Naj belt, Prydaz and Stratagem, I am so pissed about this system I can't even. 5 leggos - 0 BiS, and I can't even get bonuses to farm Fury leggos since all of those are shared.
I am into Mythic raiding, complete H every week, but my work is cut out for me because I can't compete with specs/players that have 2 BiS leggos, no spot for me.

Yeap, I feel for you man. A guy I raid with started as a fire mage. He kept getting lego after lego and just couldn't get the bracers. He finally gave up when he was sitting a solid 30%+ behind us on damage and rolled a warrior around the time that I swapped my raid main. I picked up 2 of the better legos for my spec in the first two weeks. Once he got to 110 he chain ran weekly every raid he could. He's now at like 7 or 8 legos and still doesn't have the (I think it's this one anyways) ring? And it's a kick in the nuts for him as we do alt raid nights and a guy brought in his fresh 110 warrior and picked up the ring on the second boss kill. Such a shitty system.
Suuuuure, they're going to massively change things in the home stretch of the last raid.
M+ isn't the most efficient method to acquire legendaries. Good for gear, not much else.
I've also been playing an average of 30~ hours a week since Legion launched. My main is more or less done - I just do his weekly raid and M+, while gearing my alts to collect all the mage tower stuff.
Before the M+ changes, I was doing around 25~ M+ a week across all my toons, so that helped.

If your goal is the acquisition of legendaries, you're absolutely doing the wrong content.
It's this same thing over and over again: "you're lying that you get 1 a week because I spam M+ and I get hardly any." Spamming M+ is on absolutely nobody's list of how to get legendaries in an efficient way. Do one keystone a week for the challenger chest, that's all you need. The rest are a waste of time if you want legendaries.
They buffed legendary droprates with every major patch this expansion, no reason to assume they won't do it with 7.3.5. It's certainly worth a thread and tweeting @WarcraftDevs to reinforce that, though.
My 110 Hunter has 4. I have 4 other 110s and none of them have gotten one to drop yet at all. I'll have to admit t's kind of frustrating.
Nothing is going to happen, they said they planned to drop this legendary system in BfA if I recall...so easy thing to do is just leave it alone and drop it...so doubt anything is going to change.
Yeah they did say they intend to drop it for BfA. They've also said they were toying with the idea of removing the wear 2 legendary restriction during the last week or so of Legion (mostly jokingly I presume). However, if they were to embrace fun for once, a nice boost to legendary drops would be nice should that time come around. XP
