Safety razor is better than cartridge razors. You shave with the grain to get a nice shave, and if you want to have a butter-smooth face, you shave 2nd time, against the grain.

I guess I should shave against the grain all the time, but eh, that sounds rather unpleasant even with a cream ._.

Shave with the grain, then a second time against it. Maybe try a nice soothing gel as well, could be sensitive skin.

I use my haircutter to cut my beard too. It cuts beard so well that I at first found it hard to use since there is no feeling of beard being cut.

These manual shavers... they are manual! ... FINE, i suppose they do cleaner work, but my haircutter leaves me with a nice stubble.
