Just check how many people are still subbed to WoW and belong to which faction to see which is stronger, duh.

"It's time to kick ass and chew bubblegum... and I'm all outta ass."
I'm a British gay Muslim Pakistani American citizen, ask me how that works! (terribly)
FOMO: "Fear Of Missing Out", also commonly known as people with a mental issue of managing time and activities, many expecting others to fit into their schedule so they don't miss out on things to come. If FOMO becomes a problem for you, do seek help, it can be a very unhealthy lifestyle..
Lightforge and vindicaar are counter balanced by Nightbornes chronomancy and their ability to manufacture weapons, train soldiers, age things. Wouldnt be as easy as people make it out to be.
Also notice Anduin’s res spell didnt work on any of the dudes Sylvanas banshee murdered
we would be much better served if we could coerce the blood elves back to the alliance. we could buy the goblins to the alliance. then start shadow wars between the orcs, trolls, undead, and tauren.
fuck it, the tauren can come hang in the alliance if they want.
greenbacks, dead heads, and the island trash must die.
No sense crying over spilt beer, unless you're drunk...
There is a thing that really bothers me. From my characters perspective, Horde was never more irrelevant. Only thing they did in Legion - set up a camp outside Suramar city gates. I can't remember any other event they were involved, literally everything was done by Alliance. And now suddenly a bunch of races want to join them and there is somehow BfA happening. Where did that come from?

But really, I don't know what kind of backflips the devs will do to make BoA happen and I don't care, I'll still play it, but I'm pretty certain already, that the reason will be petty and stupid. This coming from someone who plays on both factions and steers clear of PvP in any form.
"It's just like I always said! You can do battle with strength, you can do battle with wits, but no weapon can beat a great pair of tits!"
Shit, and i had planned on rolling back to horde for BfA. Guess i should thank the wise OP for telling me how precarious their situation really is. Because Lightforged Goats and Emo Elves.
Scurry.
Guess ill be staying alliance then.
Zug Zug Motherfuckers, for the Horde! Pink-faggots and their lackeyes will face their doom!!!
A masterful bait.
Since you talked about the Army of the Light (which is wrong btw, they got Lightforged Draenei [all 10 of them?], not the Army) and void elves, lets see.
The Horde got Nightborne (one of the most advanced [even if trapped in their city until recently] race with strong arcane potency) and Highmountain Tauren (strong, seasoned warriors, with Warbrave as an elite unit). They will also get Zandalari Trolls, whos tribes span all around Azeroth, and even after many wars are many in numbers.
With all this considered, I'd think the Horde got stronger than the Alliance.
Alliance players sure seem like they have a need to believe it.
Lorewise, yes, the Alliance can end the Horde. As far as the game is concerned, though, that will never happen. As long as Warcraft as a property exists, there will most likely be a need for multiple factions because there is a need for conflict. Whether an MMO or an RTS, players will need options for opposing factions.
Consider for a moment, what half the Orcs who followed Garrosh were capable of, without the traitorous so called horde races. Now add to that the other half as well as the traitor races and you've got yourself the whole of The Horde. Now, if you're able, add to that an element of fighting for survival and Total War and you've got yourself a besieged IF, a sacked Stormwind, the Eredar blocked in their tiny hole and the Horde victorious.
Of course, Blizzard's crap writing and need for status quo will never the real might of The Horde to be unleashed.
