And which vote was that? The one that kept the government running for only 4 more weeks? You want to kick the can down the road again?

Your simple story is biased. I don't know who you're trying to convince here. If you were to look at the details you would see there was a bipartisan bill. There are republicans who are siding with the democrats on this as well. Did you forget what happened 4 days ago already? The executive branch bears responsibility here as well since they were not clear on what they would accept. There is plenty blame to go around. But keep telling yourself that simple story to avoid cognitive dissonance if you want to.
The fact remains the Modern Democrat party is willing to put the interests of illegal aliens over American Citizens and shut down the government.
No it is shutting down because Congress isn't putting a budget before the President to sign or refuse to sign. You can scream and holler TRUMP!!!! ERRRMMMGGGHHHH! all you want but if they don't present a bill for the President to sign or reject then it is SOLELY on Congress. If they wanted to screw Trump then they should have presented a budget that passed the house and screamed RACIST!! when he didn't sign it. But yeah go ahead and rage because Congress would rather suck up to people who shouldn't even be here to start with than do their damn job that the people legally here sent them to DC to do.
Me thinks Chromie has a whole lot of splaining to do!
There is no bill. And the people pushing for this Bi-partisan compromise are Lindsey Graham and Jeff Flake who cant even win a primary in 2018. That isn't Bipartisan. And this DACA issue has nothing to do with the CR and keeping the gov open. The democrats are using it to hold the American people hostage over amnesty for illegal aliens.
Republicans can't even get on the same fucking page here. Supporting Trump's wishes is basically political suicide for any Republican serving any state or district in the south/southwest. They had one chance out of the situation and Trump shot their boat full of holes.
They cant put a budget forward because they don't have 60 votes in the senate again our system requires the minority party to have input unless you garnish a super majority. The Democrats did it to Bush the Republicans did it to Obama and now the Democrats are doing it to Trump. The 60 vote threshold must be eliminated so the party in power can govern
