Always humorous when people ignore all facts and goes Muuuh Horde or maah Alliance. She didn't attack it, and she helped the other elves with saving the Sunwell. I can't fathom how people didn't see that. It's like you saw her running to the Sunwell, skipped the next 30 seconds and see her run out again

She choose not to side with the Horde now because the Horde has only done bad for her. Rocket science. Love the cringe replies to the OP, fucking awesome.

They were actually a powerful force then, they're the broken scattered tribes they are today because of their defeat. The Gurubashi still had larger forces than the humans and a significant amount of power, which Zul'Gurub should prove. Even the Horde tried to take them over but failed. Not like the elves would've looked down on trolls as a threat, but still, very unlikely the elves knew anything about this anyway. Ranger Captain is a position of power and these titles were all made up as Blizzard went along anyway.

WC3 manual confirms nothing would've remained of Quel'Thalas without the whole Alliance arriving.

The elves were caught off guard by the Scourge until it was at their doorstep. Just like they would've been by the orcs and trolls if not for Alleria.

No, it was ordered by Lor'themar, because he 'couldn't lead a nation divided'.

They became Wretched in Cata as a fel object was brought there (the kind of stuff Kael likes absorbing). They weren't Wretched before then.

Take a look at War Crimes if you think Sylvanas is a sane individual who should ever be trusted with a single person's life, let alone entire nations.

He created a portal by draining Anveena and using the Scepter of Sargeras. And by the time KJ was defeated the Sunwell was clearly not restored yet, going from the talk between Velen and Liadrin.

It doesn't matter if she has the real one or not. It still at the very least would've harmed Lor'themar if he tried to touch it, and there is a 9/10 chance he did.

There's no source for Lor'themar mind controlling all opponents.

Not in the Alliance, just Lordaeron. And none of the other members even knew what was going on or what he was doing. He basically was his own warlord that rose to power through anarchy. We don't know why night elves were spying, but they were just spying, not invading. Maybe the draenei already joined the Alliance and they wanted to see if these blood elves were part of the Legion like Kael's were. Dalaran was much later, and Aethas' fault for lying to Jaina's face. The Horde tried to again during Beyond the Dark Portal (along with all of Azeroth). And again if you count Garrosh.

Lor'themar had Lyria Skystrider and Priest Ennas mind controlled for disagreeing with him. Who knows how many others. Maybe the majority of blood elves?

Yes it does, it makes the Sunwell weak to the Light's own shadow. And Umbric and the void elves are proof of that.

Blame or not, I am seeing it for what it is. Someone with the opposite powers walks to a source that reacts negativly to said powers. Whatever she knew of it or not, one would think she'd take a thought or two before. She may claim for the rest of her life that she did not knew or had not intention to do any harm but the concept itself is bad enough. I am sorry, but no matter how much you want to twist and turn Alleria's reasons, I find the whole situation bad. She was tainted, plain and simple and should not had been allowed near a source of purity that the Void would seek to corrupt.

I'll be glad when Alleria finally goes over to N'Zoth and we can put a sword through her skull.

Do Alleria knew new Sunwell was based on holy magic? You just reaching in attempt to blame Alleria for what she never did.
Yeah, seconds before she decided to walk there like a dumbass.

First Arcanist Thalyssra: The sense of power is palpable. As potent as the Nightwell, but of a different nature.
Lady Liadrin: The Sunwell was corrupted by our enemies, but a naaru's sacrifice purified its waters. Now the essence of the Light sustains us.
Alleria Windrunner: The Sunwell has changed... but its beauty remains. It has been so long.
    Lor'themar Theron: Stay back!
    Lor'themar Theron: What is happening?
Lor'themar Theron: This is why I demanded that Umbric and his radicals be exiled. Anyone who treats with the Void is a danger to the Sunwell!
Alleria Windrunner: I did not intend for my presence to...

The destruction of Draenor would've destroyed Azeroth too if the Dark Portal wasn't closed. Edit: which involved trekking across most of the planet and fighting the Horde in several battles in order to get the artifacts needed, so it's not like Khadgar could've just casted a simple spell to do this.

Allerias reason is that the Sunwell is sacred for her and she haven't seen it for a 1000 years(in her timeline).

She didn't attack it(I can't recall if she touched it) but her intention was pure(if she isn't lying) so for someone to say that she attacks it is a lie.

Though I agree that she might have tought more about it, but it's the Sunwell afterall and that is holy for her(pun).

If anyone are twisting something it is those who say she attacks it. Wich she clearly isn't.

I think Ner'zhul intended to just forget about Azeroth at first, but by the time of the battle at the Black Temple he was fully aware that he was leaving the orcs still on Azeroth to die.

The intentions are irrelevant, what is relevant is the result.

Arthas didn't really care about destroying Quel'Thalas, he just wanted the Sunwell. But he still destroyed Quel'Thalas.

Again, you used the word try, which implies intent. You can't prove it, and you somehow bungled yourself into dismantling your own claim just a post ago.

Either way, the situations aren't comparable. Arthas knew Quel'thalas stood in the way of the Sunwell, and went ahead with destroying Quel'thalas. Are you going to seriously claim that Ner'zhul knew that opening up portals elsewhere would destroy Draenor, his Horde's base of operations for the invasion of said worlds?

It was already a dying planet that they planned to leave right away, not use as a home base like it was for the invasion of Azeroth.

Waiting to see alleria's face when she learns the crowned prince of Lordaeron marched an army to desecrate the Sunwell in the first place.

Also waiting to see how she reacts to the Grand Marshall of Lordaeron's military using elven forces for suicide missions.... oh and locking up the Crowned Prince of Quel'thalas for the crime of surviving his missions against the scourge.

somehow she knows about Darkhan but nothing else that transpired between her departure and the current day.

Can you extensively and conclusively prove that the Horde of Draenor wanted to adopt an entirely new approach to invading different planets? Oh, for the record, Draenor was dying prior to the invasion of Azeroth, too. That's why they were so eager to invade Azeroth.

Oh, and it hasn't escaped my attention that you've provided zero evidence for the idea that Ner'zhul knew Draenor would be destroyed.
