Since you're taking this absurd argument and running with it -
How many hours of Gun Training were you legally obligated to take before getting a gun? Were you required to take a test with a certified Gun Instructor to buy your gun? Are you required to carry liability insurance in case you shoot somebody with your gun? If you fail to adhere to an entire Gun Code that limits the manner in whch you safely use the gun, will you receive fines and/or prison time? Do you have to take additional training courses to own more guns with more firepower than a handgun? Are you forced to have your gun inspected regularly to make sure it's safe to use, and you are still qualified to be using it? Can you be barred from owning a gun because of impairments that would affect your ability to safely use the weapon and follow the Gun Code? Are you liable to have your gun inspected and your adherence to this Gun Code enforced effectively and vigilantly every time you walk out the door? Do you face very steep, life-changing penalties if you ever carry a gun while intoxicated, mentally ill, or otherwise impaired from practical and effective use of the weapon?
It is not a matter in controversy among actual researchers; more guns means more suicides and homicides. The same cannot be said for vehicles. Stop distracting from the actual problem and drawing false equivalencies. This is not a matter of your whacky logic; it's hard fact.
