My take:

Pussy Sylvanas retreats without Voljin's suggestion.

Voljin stays because "honor and stuff", Varian stays because "heroism and stuff".

Together they wtfpwn demons with the (hinted) help of Goldrinn and Bwonsamdi.
At the end of the day, they get rescued by Tirion who dies so they can live.

Sylvanas gets owned by the Valkyr after the Stormheim-Genn incident. She is imprisoned in Valkyrie-land in stasis.
Subbie Nathanos grows some balls and character now that Domina Sylvanas is missing.
He forms a council with Faol and the rest, and they now lead the Forsaken. Reasonably.

I would create a glorious raid where the result of it will be that the Blood Elves atone for their past and the high elves band up for the actual war, High Elves leaving the Alliance in disgust of the Void Elves.

Honestly people have been craving Alliance High / Blood Elves for so long I think Blizzard should just give it to them honestly. Same as Classic WoW, tinkers and so on.

The people who want them obviosly don't care if they're same model just with blue eyes, so why would Blizzard? I think it's sort a dick move to be like here's a thing you want, but in such a way that it isn't what you asked for if that makes sense.

Don't care either way though, wouldn't play one, but that doesn't mean I don't think others shouldn't be able to.
