DON'T pretend that you haven't seen articles like this. It's the height of intellectual dishonesty.
So once again one economist gets something wrong and that means everyone agreed with him and the media said nothing positive about Trump.

Kind of like saying one person's tweets are off kilt and that means everyone disagreed with him and that what caused the stock market to fall?

No, I was replying to you, specifically. No new information, just the daily shitshow that is our nation's rep. What's amazing is what Trump supporters will put up with.

Basically all I'm hearing from you is that Trump is a man whose voice moves heaven and earth and with his fingers can control the stock market.

Are you sure you're not in denial and actually a Trump supporter?

What happens to be a bizarre quirk so far is how low inflation is at the moment. For that reason alone I doubt that lasts by the final quarter of the year.

I think you're on to something here....

I didn't pick up on it before, so I apologize. But from our conversation you've helped me realize his twitter account is hiding a genie that has the power to influence the world.

World hunger problems? Tweet that shit Trump and it's gone. Cancer got you down? We just need Trump to tweet cancer is cancer and the world will respond with a cure.

You don't think intelligent people would listen and rethink there investments because of policies or potential changes... The people who have mass weight in the stock market aren't dumb this is something an intelligent person would do and it's very reasonable. This is last time I'm replying because you just need to literally be guided through any and every conversation.

She was paid 140k? So she can afford it. But she is just another gold digging scum. Maybe paid by some anti-Trump group or rich person. :P But if we can not impeach a President for getting a b*** j** while in office by one who works there, then this is just minor crap. Your best chance of getting rid of Trump is to hope he loses in 2020. Which could happen.

But the one you had in your quote ( the post ) was not me. lol. * hands cubby some reading glasses.

I'd like to think intelligent people base their decisions on more than a Trump tweet. To think Trump has the amount of control you give him credit for is ridiculous.

His tweets become policy or signal what's coming. I never said it's the only thing but the steel tariff dow drop was because of a tweet. The damage was done before it even passed. We'll gamble with it just like we did with the tax plan and that's not work out for us either.

It's great to see how many people won't give ANY credit to Trump for this decent jobs number. If you're a Trump supporter and are salty about it cry moar. Obama put up higher job numbers in a single month multiple times and every single time he was shit on by the right-wing media and Republican congressmen. There's a letter somewhere out there of a Republican congressmen trashing Obama for a measly 290k/month job growth and then the same guy praised Trump for 220k/month growth, but I just can't remember who that was. It's pretty hard to distinguish right-wing public figures apart these days since hypocrisy, self-victimization and Nazi-sympathizing is so rampant among them.
Haha so true. Those partisans can't bring themselves to remembering the past. Thanks for the input.

I am sorry as someone who knows the business I will tell you that the stock market is incredibly dumb especially more now with algos running the show. If you don't believe me look at what happened with Bitcoin just changing your company's name to include block chain sends your company stock soaring. The stock market is speculative for a reason, Trump moves markets because it is all about making a quick buck.

    from your article:

"Obama essentially took office at a bottom, with nowhere to go but up. Despite being outgained by Obama in his first year, the strong stock market performance since Trump’s surprise election proves that the daily noise projecting Trump’s poisonous effect on stocks was not only overstated; it was simply incorrect."

Are there still people gullible to believe that the president actually has a real effect on the stock market?

    How many jobs were lost?

It really is funny how each side’s administration paints a rosy picture using their version of “fuzzy math”.
~4.1% unemployment is the actual number given by the BLS. The Bureau of Labor and Statistics conducts a rather extensive monthly survey to derive the number. The survey is called the Current Population Survey. The 4.1% unemployment rate hasn’t changed in 5 months.

Funny thing is, when conservatives were reporting the previous administrations unemployment numbers they were including everyone that was employable that wasn’t working whether they were looking or not. Conservatives were claiming as many as “93 million Americans weren’t working”.

4.1 unemployment is a pretty good number. It is the lowest it has been in ~20 years.
    As a comparison, unemployment in Greece is 20.9, Spain 16.9, Italy 11.1, France 9, Finland 8.5, Sweden 6.5, Denmark 5.2, England 4.3, Germany 3.6, Venezuela 26, Brazil 13, Canada 5.8, Mexico 3.8...

    Peace

When he announced the tariffs, the stock market plummeted.
