Artifact weapon retirement=OMFingG=rage quit by the majority

Couldn't be happier to piss artifact weapons off. I enjoyed getting a new weapon from a boss every so often, it's a good feeling! Plus the grind is shit.

Yes and no.

I have been trying to wrap my head around this as well.

In Legion we went from 100 to 110. In that leveling what progress was made on our characters what new ability, or such learned. Zero it was all tied to our Artifact Weapon, that we are losing.

So in a sense any progress we made to our characters in Legion is lost.

It looks like they are taking this path again with BaF...

Personally I am not a fan of how this is looking for the future.

Expansion comes out get to max level (serves no purposed but gating content now), to grind out Artifact Knowledge or Azurite to gain exciting and fun new abilities only to lose them w/the next expac

Just think of it this way. You get something new the next expansion. As long as they replace what they take with something else.
