I was hoping this was going to be a thread that actually pointed out some reasonable pros and cons of each. I actually much prefer the design of Spotify, but because I have an iPhone, being able to drive and just say "Hey Siri, play Rock music" without getting distracted or take my eyes off the road gives it the edge for me.

Uh, can't be serious? There's literally artists who openly state they only put their music on Tidal for the first month exclusively because of a quick payday. i.e. artists even think Tidal sucks.

I've tried Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music, and Jango. Each of them have their merits, but anything I can find on any of these services, I can find on Youtube.

I've only ever used Pandora and Spotify (both free, something about paying Pandora and STILL only being able to skip a limited amount seems weird to me), but the platform I'm looking for is one where I can manage playlists almost exactly like I would back in my MP3 days. Sometimes I may only want to listen to deadmau5. Sometimes I may be cool with Blink and Green Day. I don't want random other artists/songs sprinkled into my playlists unless I'm on some sort of "radio"-type channel.

My old man recently got spotify so I use that now, but I noticed on my folks connection is takes up so much fucking bandwidth to use it, on my mobile broad band its fine.
