I would start with actively disallowing weapons to known criminals, clinically documented psychopaths, and children. Additionally, requiring proper psych evaluations and marksmanship course completion requirements to purchase and retain the right to owning firearms.

It isn't a race issue. It is an American issue. Plenty of other peaceful countries are as or more multicultural then America yet have a fraction of the issues. Blaming it on race is just an excuse.

sad you even think fbi has the correct stats in the 1st place. when its known that hood people (poor blacks in most cases) will NOT snitch on each other. means if you come to my house and assault me I dont call the cops,.. I call my boys and we handle it. when we do roll thru we shoot up the place and that person dont call the cops cause they hood. and the cycle continues. most crimes in the hood go unreported. they are a problem for america and the fact you refuse to admit that makes you unreasonable, unintelligent and like the other guy, a waste of time.

Well it's not just one problem like "people are too aggressive/mean". So uh, yeah.

But if we're talking about cops killing people I'd say there needs to be a reduction in the militarization of our police force and an increase in accountability across the board. Not really right that cops tend to get away with murder (literally) and the worst punishment most ever face for things that would put anyone else in prison is a paid vacation. Not saying being a cop is easy either, I'm just saying there's very little accountability when cops can just break all the rules and get away with it 90% of the time.

I'd say another issue is gun culture. Not that guns are bad, I'm pretty pro-gun myself. I think the issue is more that plenty of people are pro-gun just because they like guns and they heard the 2nd amendment exists, and others are anti-gun because they heard some people got shot one time on the news. Most people don't bother to educate themselves and groups the the NRA and most major news organizations aren't really helping on either side.

Can't say I really have a solution to either problem but those are both currently big issues. People don't trust cops because they hear constantly about how cops go around murdering unarmed black people every other week, and cops don't trust people because that's the culture that gets pushed among law enforcement. They've got each other's backs, specifically to protect each other from the citizens they're supposed to protect on a daily basis. Not saying all cops are bad guys, but there's certainly a culture problem within that line of work and I think even most LEO's will admit that.
