So CoD is coming and token prices are going to be over million. Soon everyone will have 2m+ gold for 40euros and flasks etc will cost 10x they did during the start of expansion. So we who will NOT use real money to buy wow gold are going to be in trouble.

What will Blizzard do when 90% of playerbase are going to have 3m+ gold and everything will be expensive?

Also the PC version of CoD also makes up like 5% of total CoD purchases.

Token prices already peaked and are dropping again. It's humorous people think CoD is going to have a bigger impact on the token then ya know... the fucking xpac for the very game you buy the token in.

You can learn alchemy and sell flasks for "10x they did during the start of expansion" for loads of money. Tokens do not inject gold to economy so they can't cause inflation.

Destiny 2 did not kill the wow ecnomy why would this. yes tokens have been raising in price since they came out, but they wont just jump to 1 Milion in a week. it will inflate down

You do realize that the gold involved in token trades is neither created nor destroyed? Of course the token prize will raise for a time, but it will fall back eventually. The next huge inflation will come with BfA. People buying CoD with tokens will be paaying more in the end.

If suddenly herbs are selling for 10 million gold and you dont have 10 million to buy them... Go farm them yourself and sell them for that 10 million gold then.

If Flasks etc will cost 10x more, then you can craft them yourself, sell them and still have no money problems. Tokens does not create money; if they were, then the sale-price of them would go continously go down. But they go upward, so except for peak-price buyers (that actually create money), tokens are more likely to remove gold from the system.

Token-prices are only so high because the demand is high. So the price only goes up because everyone is buying them, and is removing gold from the system.

In the long term, token-prices will go up, but that's because of normal inflation of the game. What we would need is another gold-sink like we had with reforging.

Uhm.. What? You do know that the token DOESN'T generate gold, right? You do know that the gold comes from other players, right? You do know that even with the other games, EU didn't see higher than a little around 450.000 gold, right?

US price was 206k it went up to 236 at highest i saw then dropped down to 207 current
