Quick question: is this requirement for Zandalari & Kul'Tiran, Mag'har and Dark Iron, or all 4?

I'll end up doing it anyway. I just hope we have some way other than world quests to get rep once we've finished all the quests.

For dark iron/mmaghar, we dont know the other two yet.

But its simply do the weekly campaign for 3 weeks, and do your emissaries. And after 3 weeks you will have your dwarf/orc

O-oh no...I have to do the main storyline and do a few dailies for a bit? I was totally not going to do that anyway and unlock this along the course of playing normally at a casual level. Darn that nasty Blizzard, rewarding me for playing the game nominally and stuff at launch. H-how dare they, amirite?

I am not really surprised that it is like it is, but it does not make really sense to me.

Most people like to main a char, so obviously even if you wanted to play such an allied race you would have spent weeks or months on another char already. This really screams "buy a race change or stfu".

Currently on beta .. i'm into revered, and have not yet finished the war campaign.. This is a non issue.

Shame. I naively thought we'd get Dark Iron & Mag'har as part of the BfA Prologue. Oh well, at least we know now.

how hard is it to tell us that it will require a guest line and rep before getting the recruitment quest?

Idk I looked idk if we know how yet. Maybe a secret mount? Idk I've asked around on the woehead discord and nothing.

Except RAC echnage does not earn you the special armor. And if you dont want the special armor its literally the exact same as any other race. Race change does not cost more for allied race.

I mean they're UNLOCKABLE races. Hence why you have to go through some grind to unlock them. It should take a month or two, even for a casual to get to exalted.

I for one appreciate AR was a better reward system for rep maxing and cosmetic boosters.
I like the requirement, it makes me feel like I earned it and make them feel more special bc of it. Plus bc of the faction grind, I feel closer to the AR overall bc of how I helped their group ;p

I'd imagine most war faction rep will be done through the war campaign, which makes perfect sense.

they said 2 races would be available at launch with more coming...
these 2 are available at launch but you need to earn them first, just like how 120 is available at launch, but you dont log on then you are suddenly 120.

To unlock these Allied Races, players must attain Exalted reputation with your War Campaign's faction 7th Legion and The Honorbound and complete the War Campaign!

I understood it for Legion because many of those factions would have been exalted at launch but this is just painful to see. Even bumping it down to revered would have been nice. Gonna be a while before you can play the new factions all I can suggest is that you grind every rep you see from now on, no questions asked. All WQ's every day, dungeons, etc. YOU WILL GRIND FOR YOUR RACES AND YOU WILL LIKE IT!

You mean we have to P L A Y the game to get stuff ?

I don't mind grinds, but i am severely disappointed that i can't unlock the races to level in BfA with.

I was planning to race change my main and go through the leveling experience with my revamped character to grow on me (like we currently can on the beta!). Now, i'm gonna have to level him on the current race and then suddenly change it after weeks of play? It's disappointing for sure.

I was planing on race changing one toon to dark iron so I can’t say I’m really miffed to have to get rep for it, been waiting awhile what is an extra week or two?
