That's one of the better lines of this godforsaken book. Baine is pretty much feels more like an Alliance character. She doesn't feel any way towards the Tauren one way or another, but she can't stand Baine's Alliance riding and this isn't the first time, in War Crimes it comes up too.

It's actually not a bad idea for him to pack up and go with his BFF Anduin.

No. Baine is acting like ordinary Tauren do, which is disliking aggression. Baine feels sympathetic to Anduin because he cannot associate with the Horde's current warmongering, and Anduin represents somebody closer to the Taurens' philosophy and way of life than Sylvanas does.

He's like pre-Mop Jaina, trying to find peace between factions, but I don't recall such negativity towards Jaina when she was pro-peace as now towards Baine.
