She did due to her behavior, and the community uproar it caused. Most of it was GW2 players who were very unhappy with it, though there absolutely were all your usual drama bandwagoners etc., but they alone wouldn't have caused this because despite their delusions of grandeur, they're not remotely as powerful as they think.
Did you even look?
How some random sees it is meaningless. And when has a male developer ever lashed out at customers over imaginary sexism?
And for what majestic reason are you pretending there's no difference between a dev getting fired for actually engaging in a hostile discourse with customers and a single customer pretending that means they can get any and all dev fired regardless of what they do?
Which part of "I'm not sure if lashing out at customers over one's own illiteracy is really that good of a trait in a developer" was so complicated that you felt the need to ask this? If they engaged in such behavior they aren't exactly better, regardless of what their junk is. So be a dear and don't project your soggy knees in my direction.
Lol what? Everyone is taught by other people. Books, videos, school. It's all from another human. It's totally reasonable to have a dialogue with a game developer as a community figure and share ideas and not expect to be called out as a sexist mansplainer. This girl was insane.
