One of the best sitcoms, up there up with Seinfield.
Yep, remember watching it every morning, great show.
To bad this kind of humor doesn't work on TV today.
One fat joke and all of a sudden it is "fat-shaming" and that would be the end of it.
I loved watching this show when I was young and still do to this day. Its funny when you see how much this show makes fun of woman being lazy, slutty, dumb, fat or whiny while in todays time it would cause a lot of commotion. Its a shame that a show like this can't be made anymore. Al Bundy is like a TV hero.
Loved this show.
This show is a classic. Too bad if theyd try to make it in "todays" (retarded) world, there would be a million morons up in arms about it.
for years when my wife was feeling frisky i would say "ahh jeez peg, twice in one month?" she hated it lol.
also, the banter between al and darcy is some fine television. and darcy's husband at the time, i forget the two dudes names, would only add to the hilarity.
Al vs Marcy was always pretty entertaining to watch, too
Feminists today would love him
But yeah classic stuff and i still watch it from time to time it's just that good.
Do you hear the voices too?
"Would you please let me join your p-p-party?
I like that when this show aired things were still allowed to be made fun of, it wasn't illegal to say certain things like it is now.
Al Bundy was an idiot, he was an abusive moron who basically hated his pretty cozy life he made on a shoe makers salary not to mention a beautiful wife he ignored on a routine basis, and kids he would neglect.
His only claims to fame were the fact he used to play football and could insult and abuse the easiest targets that came into his store who basically supported the living he made.
Basically celebrated everything wrong about so called Family values.
