Generations are a load of horse shit tbh.
I care about that idea so little I'm posting in this thread telling you how little I care.
Also - Generation X
80-89'ers are more like inbetweeners. They're lumped in with gen x and millennial's. The generation that is more like subpop genre of people. a progressive remembers of what times used to be and chroniclers of where things are going. The guy sitting back listening to the older and younger crowds talk and has something to say but laugh at how stubborn different groups sound from perspective. The guys were made fun of for being nerds and the girls hid their nerdiness.

I'm technically a millenial, but being born in the early 80's I had a pretty analogue childhood.
I still prefer phone calls to texting and remember being in primary school with the internet computer.

I get Gen X'ers and Millennials, I just never fit in with either one of them.

The in-between, golden generation: Xennials

We dislike both Generation X and Millennials equally.
Millenial (born '85) though I really don't think the 81-95 range is a good categorization.
People born in the early-mid 80s really grew up with a very different social culture compared to people born in the early-mid 90s, and I think relate more to Gen X than the younger "millenial generation".
Personally, I think the divide should be in 1987; if you were born after 1987, you would have spent at least a few of your most formative years in the modern digital age, growing up with near universal online connectivity via social media and smart devices. If you were born before 87, you likely reached adulthood without much more than a dialup modem and maybe a myspace account.
