    vaccines

so some new information came out recently.

    https://sharylattkisson.com/2019/01/...vt-covered-up/

I myself am pro vaccine and have had my kids vaccinated with no problems. what are your thoughts on this, I mean its no surprise that the government does this type of stuff, but is this doctor to be taken seriously?

I feel almost confident in saying "No" based on the URLs alone.

the full government affidavit is there for you to read. and this is coming from Dr. Andrew Zimmerman, the world-renowned pro-vaccine pediatric neurologist specializing in autism.

Yeah man, the US govt covered it up. So did every scientist on the planet, including the one that published the study linking vaccines to autism in the first place!

so the worlds leading pediatric pro vaccine neurologist who specializes in autism is lying? or are you believing those who are less qualified than him?

I don't think that person is qualified. I will believe every other specialist on the planet.

Not really interested in hearing about this misrepresentation (on the basis that he was only talking about a single case) from people touting this as a link between vaccines and autism when the thing being "covered up" also explicitly says it's in exceptional cases. Sounds to me like they want people to come to the exact conclusion that those doing the "cover up" didn't want people drawing. Funny how that works.

First off: anyone with a functioning brain should be pro-vaccines.

Secondly, something is definitely up with autism, diagnoses have increased by 150% since 2000. That is way higher than simply increased awareness and diagnosis.

I think the explanation is maternal stress during pregnancy. Overall stress levels are on the rise in the US due to longer working hours and stagnant wages, and there are several research studies that stress during pregnancy is associated with ADHD, anxiety disorders and autism-like behaviors in infants and children.

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3153828/

Probably more I could link but people can do the research themselves, we talked about this stuff during my MA program.

Yeah well it's way higher, it's a USA Today article. I just chose it because it talks about the increase in diagnoses. Obviously my opinion but I'm not alone in thinking that.

Let's just blame the vaccines for all the issues and not blame pesticide, genetic modification to food, added chemical to food and a butt load long list of things that can kill you that is added in everyday product that we either eat or use. Yep, let's ignore all of that and just blame vaccines!
Just like back in the 60's when doctors would tell patients that smoking cigarets was good for you!

I think that overall, we've been getting more progressively stressed out since the 1950s. Rising rental rates/cost of real estate, stagnant wages and longer working hours contribute to that.

I'll tell you my own bias. Vaccinate your kids, I have mine vaccinated and its the right thing to do. But vaccines like everything, has side effects that can affect some people. Its very possible that it can cause severe side effects in a very low percentage of people that we do not really identify as being linked with vaccines. I don't believe for a second that autism is one of those side effects but given the nature of vaccines, plenty of bad ones can develop in just a few people.

Rather have a kid with autism than one who died of fucking polio.

Not that vaccines cause autism, because they fucking don't.

    It's utter bullshit :

VACCINES DON'T CAUSE AUTISM FOR F*CK SAKE !

It all comes from a fraud scientist who wanted to discredit a vaccine to launch his own version.

There can be side effects (1 per several millions vaccinations) but the benefit outweighs the risk 1 billion time.

Yes. I lived through 9/11. That is my opinion though (if you have some research to share, feel free to share it) and I didn't live in NYC during that time period. Wages were higher and we hadn't yet hit an economic recession that we have not yet bounced back from. Views on upward mobility and economic opportunity were generally more positive. Also 9/11 was very unifying for the country as a whole during that time period, it gave us a common enemy to fight against.

Also going to add: for the average person, not having a job/high cost of bills/having trouble putting food on the table is going to be more directly impactful and stressful than a one-time terrorist event that was 9/11. And today, mass shootings are commonplace, often committed by Americans, and can happen anywhere.

iam fully vaccinated and i never got any disease that i was vaccinated for.

Seriously i love hearing stories about unvaccinated kids getting ill and then hearing the BS from there parents (I know its sad for the kid i mainly lol at the dumbass parents)

Bottom line is vaccinations work they just do and parents need to stop listening to pseudo professionals who get there junk science from the scientific journal of Alex fucking Jones!!
