6 incidents are meaningless too, you're missing the entire point.

I'm also not a big fan of guns, but you don't seem to realize that by using specific incidences to make your case, you're not helping convince anyone of anything. For people who are predisposed to disagree with arguments for gun control, you're presenting an easily refuted argument. You're just posting stuff that people will interpret based on their own preconceived biases.

So we end up in the world of:

Gun control advocate: "Look at these specific incidents!"
Gun lover: "Oh yeah, look at THESE!"

And nothing ever goes anywhere. If you just look at specific instances to make your case, you can choose your own reality and believe whatever you want, because you can find instances of pretty much anything.

I wouldn't say incompetent, just very poorly trained. Some countries take years to train an officer and rarely have incidents. Many departments in the US rush them out in a few weeks and get exactly what you would expect.
